These St Michael ruins were incredible. Hard to imagine it surrounded by water, how much this landscape has changed. Rogue landlords, have they existed this long? Such a fertile area of history. Just imagining the vikings pillaging the women of the area, shocking! The time team really uncovered some shocking evidence. A gruesome instalment and definitely a place we would like to visit! Epic drone work as always! ❤️
St Michael Ruins really amazing and interesting. The view really nice and 7:45 this is what I’m always waiting ❤️. Super and very cool. Thank you 🙏🏻 for sharing again. Have a nice day. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪.
Hello, guys! What a fascinating, incredibly amazing area! These ruins are so spectacular. There is always something moving watching ruins of old places and sites to me. As always a wonderful narratin, dear. So interesting to know evething of this Church. HUGS and happy weekend, guys and my huge like! Renata
Great approach to this hilltop treasure! Wow amazing narration as always!😮 gosh the remains of the nun with sword wounds or surgical?? Incredible Alessa and Brett and yet again more awesome piloting! Have a fantastic weekend my lovelies 👍❤️
:) What a question - for Brett it's Carreg Cennen in Wales or Montgomery Castle, for myself.. it's a difficult one, but stand out's for me are Raglan Castle and Castel Coch, Slains in Scotland but after speaking about it, we have a massive love for Wales and its history, it feels like home for us :) Out of the many wonderful places you've visited has anywhere stuck out for you?
@@PinnedonPlaces hmm i was blown away by Highgate cemetery , will certainly do more like that , as you know i am so broad in what i do so its really hard to pinpoint i love vlogging in florida as it always feels like home around lake buena vista , but it generally comes down to that inner story i look into discover and bring to life just today i discovered something id never heard of called felo de se , it ended up with someone being buried in a road as they could not be buried in consecrated ground really strange . hope you are both having a fantastic weekend .👍
Awesome guys. What a location. And as you say. It is feeling the history when you are there that makes it. Top job as always. Keep em coming. Have a great weekend. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️. Watto & Kim.
Thanks for another interesting and quite fascinating tour of the amazing old ruins that abound in your country. I loved the narration and the amazing drones eye view of the ruins and surrounding countryside. Cheers🤩
Hi Alessa and Brett, hi the ruins are amazing, really enjoyed the history of this church, it would of been a lovely church back in its day. Horrid to hear about the pillaging of the woman, but it happened in those days, terrible times. Thank you for sharing x
Mount is really a stretch on this one, but still a very beautiful old church. Almost unbelievable that these walls are still standing. The holes in the wall look so severe, but the church remains recognizable. Very nicely captured.
Wow, this place is wonderful, I always love your videos and all the wonders you show us, thanks my friend! Subscribed already and like 66, stay connected dear 💚
@@PinnedonPlaces at the time it was the best camera platform that I could afford of course now it's getting very hard to find batteries for it because they have moved on to a different style
Excellent video of one of the many ruined churches from my home county! 😊 The drone footage looks great, is there any piece of equipment that you would recommend for doing that?
@@BrettR-PoP thanks for the recommendation! If I've never flown a drone before, is it a good starter or should I look into something a little less pricey in case it crashes on the first test flight? 😄
@@traveldan1 Honestly, I watched alot of YT and researched about the drone alot, and this is my first drone also (upgraded from original Mavic 1) but nevertheless, something cheap as a starter is a good shout, if it has auto-hover then it's definitely a bonus, but that's the reason dji products are great as they are beginner friendly. Apologies I can't really recommend anything other than dji as I have never used anything else.
Appreciate it very much Adzey - me and Brett are travelling this evening after work so hoping to be there supporting people but might have to catch up on yours when I get to the hotel!
Not much left of it but still looks pretty fabulous. Lots of history attached to the place and some of it quite gruesome by the sounds of it. So those graffiti people were around in 1840. Some things never change 👍
It's interesting to learn this land was Vikings' settlement and used to accessible to the water. Appreciate the research of the history, especially woman's brutal death...Your music selection is very effective. Indeed the ruin is poorly, but I found the ornate details around arch door frame that is a work of artI reckon. Of course, the drone footage is a charm to this film. Thank you.
Some amazing ruins to explore Brett and Alessa. Must have been stunning back in it's day. Loved coming along.
Your channel content is so great to watch 👍👍👍👍👍 cool video 👍

Beautiful saint John Church its lovely place as well

Great place - went straight to my list (after I found it on the map ;-)) ...
The ruins of St. James church are very interesting as was the history. I always love your drone shots at the end of your videos! 😊
Love this one, hidden gem as you say, the bones of this historic place standing out looks so dramatic, n the ancient history was gt=reat
