Call of Cthulhu has definitely produced some of my favorite gaming stories, including a PC's bout of hysterical cannibalism, a PC (mine) not noticing a 7 foot tall Sikh on an ocean liner, and everyone desperately trying to keep a relentlessly curious 10 year old from seeing the cosmic horrors in the old haunted house. And so much fire. It always ends in fire.
Enjoyed the Masks of the Narly Hotep story - lots of fun and very familiar late-teens Cthulhu territory - cheers, Jeff. As always, enjoyed Memorex-ing the news and you relating the chat with the gang. Alien RPG release was December 2019 (so I guess its fifth birthday is this Christmas) and, yeah, I was shocked by the email about an imminent second edition so soon. I'm sure they'll make a pretty penny with the KS, but without a really good reason I'm not sure I'm going to be in on this one. I've been up for mostly every Free League release, but this just seems bizarre.
Morrus over at ENworld and of A5E, is a good egg. I gotta think he and Jessica over there would be happy to see A5E get wider coverage. I’ve used A5E and it’s my preferred 5E-compatible system. On the topic of Five Leagues from the Borderlands (as well as Frostgrave), I find the solo/1v1/coop merger of RPG and miniatures a refreshing change of pace. Would enjoy hearing your take on this part of the hobby Jeff!
Thanks again for another great video. I have been really enjoying your content. I see you as level-headed and game-focused which I really enjoy. Since I lean more OSR, I had been listening to more right-leaning content creators. But over time, those people become political and hateful over time. Keep up the great work friend.

There's almost always fire... :)

I enjoyed your story. I look forward to hearing the rest of it
the Schaeffer commercial lol "when you're having more than one".

A totally new review embargo: “upstairs embargo”. 😅
Aren’t you afraid Elliot is going to remember if he is put in similar situations again?
Not really. ~ Jeff
