The only time I've been to Scale Force it was leathering it down and I had to cross a bog to get there. Everyone loves a good waterfall tho 👍 Looked a great day out on a calm Buttermere. Mrs Metalmans favourite walk around Buttermere and what a glorious day you had for a paddle on the lake. Glad you missed those two wild looking ruffians, they did look really wild 😳. Still never been to Scale Force, promised Mrs Metalman we would do it next time we are there and it did look (cows apart) a real nice gentle walk. Wonderful, I used to swim here regularly, you are right about its' outstanding beauty. Buttermere can be extremely cold though so be careful, although you both look well equipped. Friend of mine has one of these Itiwits and I'm contemplating getting one too for the kids, but I've only ever seen them on rivers. How did you find the tracking on the lake? Ever since I scared myself on a Sevylor many moons ago, trying to go across a windy lake in winter without a life jacket (spastic move) I've been really wary of these inflatables.

The keels definitely help and the row back was a good test as we meet currents and wind, it did well! Nice music! Gorgeous location to take the yak out. Kat is already looking more comfortable. Kayaking is such a great way to explore an area and get a completely different experience. Strong winds can make kayaking quite the chore. It's always a great idea to keep a watch out for changing wind directions. Same for when I am on my paddleboard too. My paddle board has a backpack similar to yours for the kayak but it also has wheels on it. The pump and the paddle fit in it as well. It makes it much easier to carry back and forth from a lake or river. You can pull it on the wheels or put it on like a backpack. Kayaking, walking, swimming, what a great day. The crouch strap is not a comfortable thing. It's just so you don't slip out of the lifejacket. Another beautiful location and adventure with my 2 fav UKers! ~RVA~

Good morning guys, we was in decathlon last weekend and went over to have a little nosey at the kayak, It’s a decent bit of kit, and I think I’ll be getting one, so thanks for the heads up on this Really enjoyed this video, a great way to see a different view of buttermere, we all know how stunning it looks from up high, but it’s equally as impressive from on the water itself, especially the way all the fells look in the background, Scale force I’d love to see whilst in spate, I was hoping for maybe a Peter Andre impression though Ceri Cheers guys, really enjoyed watching sat in the sun with a McDonald’s cup of tea, now to head south Speak soon guys ❤️❤️❤️ Sat here in my van enjoying this with a cup of tea.

looked like a great fun day guys, Buttermere looks a great lake to paddle on, never been on that one personally, but definitely on my list now, looks fairly easy to access, and 5 quid for the day to paddle is a good 👌, such a beautiful surrounding area, and love the Cave walkway bit, I've camped up on haystacks looking down to Buttermere, such a great lake, thanks for taking us along, great video, atb Mick 👍

A good way to skive at paddling being in the back and using the filming excuse 😂 Looks like a great way to relax. Is the boating pass free for NT members. The only time I've been to Scale Force it was leathering it down and I had to cross a bog to get there. Everyone loves a good waterfall tho 👍 Looked a great day out on a calm Buttermere. Mrs Metalmans favourite walk around Buttermere and what a glorious day you had for a paddle on the lake. Glad you missed those two wild looking ruffians, they did look really wild 😳. Still never been to Scale Force, promised Mrs Metalman we would do it next time we are there and it did look (cows apart) a real nice gentle walk. Despite all the dry weather the waterfall was still very impressive and what a perfect day to have a swim in Buttermere, looks like you had a brilliant time in the lakes with both weather and views, cheer Alan

Wonderful, I used to swim here regularly, you are right about its' outstanding beauty. Buttermere can be extremely cold though so be careful, although you both look well equipped. Friend of mine has one of these Itiwits and I'm contemplating getting one too for the kids, but I've only ever seen them on rivers. How did you find the tracking on the lake? Ever since I scared myself on a Sevylor many moons ago, trying to go across a windy lake in winter without a life jacket (spastic move) I've been really wary of these inflatables.
Good morning and thanks for your support and feedback, so far we are finding the Itiwit really robust and tracks well, easy to use, that being said we have had almost perfect conditions on our only two uses to date. The keels definitely help and the row back was a good test as we meet currents and wind, it did well! Nice music! Gorgeous location to take the yak out. Kat is already looking more comfortable. Kayaking is such a great way to explore an area and get a completely different experience. Strong winds can make kayaking quite the chore. It's always a great idea to keep a watch out for changing wind directions. Same for when I am on my paddleboard too. My paddle board has a backpack similar to yours for the kayak but it also has wheels on it. The pump and the paddle fit in it as well. It makes it much easier to carry back and forth from a lake or river. You can pull it on the wheels or put it on like a backpack. Kayaking, walking, swimming, what a great day. The crouch strap is not a comfortable thing. It's just so you don't slip out of the lifejacket. Another beautiful location and adventure with my 2 fav UKers! ~RVA~

Stunning place! I enjoyed your kayak tour so much. I immediately felt the gentle waving of the water beneath since I miss kayaking a lot, for several reasons we're standing still for two years...and the delicate sound of the water is extraordinarily relaxing, in my opinion. Perfect video!

looked like a great fun day guys, Buttermere looks a great lake to paddle on, never been on that one personally, but definitely on my list now, looks fairly easy to access, and 5 quid for the day to paddle is a good 👌, such a beautiful surrounding area, and love the Cave walkway bit, I've camped up on haystacks looking down to Buttermere, such a great lake, thanks for taking us along, great video, atb Mick 👍
