It's not bad. I like mine. The deck is 11 gauge fab, which is a far cry from the previous stamped on the older model I had. I do 6 lawns, all on my street, (retired) and it's a beast. Good video brother, stay cool out there.
One more last thing before I get off my soap box. You manage your business as you see fit. You choose your clients, you're in control, not the other way around. ✌️✌️
I haven’t seen this video in a long time so idk what your referring to. However: I feel you make more by doing smaller lawns closer together than bigger lawns.
I just rewatched it, yes, that’s exactly what I’m talking about. If your on a $55 lawn for 1 hour, you can do 3 $35 in that same hour and make more $. That’s what I’m talking about here lol
I prefer to use SAE 30 all year over 10w30 in the summers. Your business mindset is much like the way I think. We have a fair amount of Check paying customers which is fine with me. Especially more so now with depositing checks with my phone versus going to the bank. In general I personally don’t drop or raise the price on a customer during the mowing season unless justified. I typically suck it up and finish to the end of the season. Then notify them before the end of the year I’m going to drop them or raise their price the beginning of next season. They may not like it but it gives them time to weigh out their options. I personally have never dropped a big yard to take on smaller yards. Most cases I simply raise their price in hopes they drop me but they still renew each year. In one older neighborhood I have 10 yards I want to drop but getting $60 per cut for quarter acre lots. Most other companies are still charging $45 per cut. It seems I’m stuck with them because I really can’t raise them anymore.
Dude I know. Even though the bigger ones suck, it’s hard to drop them when you see the income from them. Even tho I’m certain I can quickly replace…. It’s still hard. I also like the sae 30. I think it’s a much smoother running oil.
Thank you. Hey look, obviously it’s not commercial or anything. But it does a great cut, it’s pretty fast, and I’m happy with it. Hopefully I get a few years from it.
I got this 1 customer I wanna get rid of but she’s my 2nd ever one but she far asf from from my route. I’m sucking it up tell the end of the year. Next year I will not be back 😂
Your client (Mrs Jones) Hey Mrs Jones, we are going through restructuring and it turns this will affect you. It pains me to give this news but as a business, we have no choice. Since you have been a perfect client, I will mow your lawn next week on us and therefore, this will give some time to find another lawn service. Thank for choosing Clean Cuts, we wish nothing but the best. If Mrs Jones is asking Why??????? (1) Mrs Jones, We are doing route density and this yard is out of way and not cost effective. Or (2) Mrs Jones, I am doing yards 15 mins for $35 and yours takes more an hour. Your yard is not profitable for our business. Since it's out of our way and huge, we would have to charge you ($$$$/crazy amount) You DO NOT have to cut her last one for free. However, it shows the business professional that you are and what you are willing to go above and beyond to help someone. Scenario 1 or 2 will work because they are true. (I always say) - If you tell them the honest truth, then you don't have to remember the lies. (I cut off my last client because of dog poop. This was 7 min yard for $40 but I do not tolerate dog crap on my pants or face and don't give a damn if she paid $500 the answer is F*CK NO) Wow, damn, did I ramble on and on? Great video.🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

Way better than stamped. I agree.

Dont you charge more for the bigger yards?
Of course
Then I don't understand why you wouldn't make money

How do you like your Ariens? Glad y'all are staying busy 🍻

@@cleancutslawncare should pay for itself quick with all your properties, y'all stay hydrated out there 🍻
You too bro. I been using drip drop hydration packs. From Walmart. They are good.
@@cleancutslawncare I'll have to try them, mowing in sunny 80 degree has been warm, going to be real warm when it's over 90
Heat is on the way my friend. You guys be careful out there. I hope your killing it making $1M every day.
Looking into buying that same ariens mower looks to be the best bang for the buck what are your thoughts and opinions on it
So far so good. No issues yet. I think your right, best bang for your buck. Everyone thinks you have to have commercial equipment, it’s just not true.
What size is that hose? I didn’t get one with my 42”
Oh man idk honestly. Do I just measure the width to find out? I’ll measure it and get back to you this week or coming week.

I don’t blame you. I stay away from sky travel time.
What do you do to gain so many yards?
We just run a nice google my business page. It’s free. A lot of pics of our work, 5 star reviews etc. the phone rings non stop.
