It's so cool how you can not only see the evolution of 2D animation styles over the years, but how you can tell just from looking at the art style when each advertisement was made
I'm curious about some of the clips in this, it shows a bunch of ads with his 70s design but I can't find them except for one. I wanna see the party one
I don’t know what I just watched, but all I know is this: I WANT THIS SONG TO BE SOLD ON ITUNES! I WANT TO BUY THIS SONG! German rock with anthropomorphic foxes advertising real estate (at least that’s what I think). You had me at foxes with guitars.
No, this was an ad for the real estate bank Schwäbisch Hall. I guess the bank is located in the (south?) german city Schwäbisch Hall. Parts of this advertisement seem to be old, maybe from the 90s because in one scene the fox taught as a teacher in the classroom and on the blackboard he presented a map with the east german federal states wich formed the former GDR. Schwäbisch Hall is not a normal commercial bank like the Deutsche Bank. These type of banks were founded in the 1850s by german citizens to help each other and to avoid the dependency on the usurious interests of capitalistic business men & banks.
@@furkank.5291 Yes. you are right aobut the location. The vid is kind of a summary of all clips featuring the Fox mascot from the early 50s on till today.

Original English: Bausparfuchs yes, but also he might be called Erwin, but what would they call him at "Prvá stavebná sporiteľňa" as he also appears in slovakian under that other company name.
@@lilykienhofer8577 Thanks so much as I was wonder what this Fox is advertising. Now for an important question. What's his name as I would love to find more adverts mainly from the late 90's and early 00's.
@@lilykienhofer8577 Yep, if it wasn't for this one video, nobody would even bother with this guy it seems. But yeah, context is certainly important to understand why a fox mascot was deemed worthy of this company and its business.
@@boru25 I noticed his name seems to be "Bausparfuchs" or "Bausparkasse", the name is a contraction of two words, "Bausparen" (building and loan association) and "Fuchs" (fox) (for the other name, Kasse meaning "Cashbox").
This explains so much.
Explains what that Germans are great cartoonists?

It's for a home remodeling company.

They advertise loans for house purr-poses, such as constructing, refurbishment, etc.
Furries love this, by the way.
Awesome
I couldn't understand a word, and I'm pretty good with German. So was this an ad for the town of Swaebisch Hall or what?

The keyboardist in that band doesn't give a shit about his job; Really, he's just pounding the same keys over and over again.
