The final day of Sick Week 2022 is here! After hundreds of miles of driving we found ourselves back at Bradenton Motorsports Park! The highest of highs for some people came today by winning their classes, setting PR's, and reminiscing on what an incredible event this really was. On the flip side of that coin, other people didn't get the final pass they wanted and unfortunately we had a couple scary accidents on the track. We hope you guys enjoyed this coverage and we'll see you next year!

Man! If you guys haven't followed Shane's progress through the week, it's insane! They literally had the whole motor out of the car, slammed it back together and still made it to the next spot. Those guys THRASH!
Uhhhmuhguhd CANT BELIEVE YOURE COMMENTING ON ANYTHING EVER!!!11
😉😉
Goofy is good people. Sad to see that rad CRX get hammered.
That kid will be a automotive savage with the best manners on the planet. His pops did very well with him. A solid couple of fellas.
Gotta love the whole PFI/Boosted Boiz/Cleetus crew man. I’ve never seen such determination and motivation. Great content for sure
Pfi speed for the win!
I love how Brents son is always smiling too. You can tell he’ll grow into a great guy just like brent.
Facts. Brent is a different breed. Only makes sense his son follows suit. Most positive and passionate people I follow in the racing scene, hands down, by far
He’s had a great role model his whole life.
@@seankoons2023 I was at the Gainesville sick day and both of them were smiling the whole time. Stopped to talk to Shane and he was super nice.
both of his sons and his daughter are the same way, what an awesome family!!
@@micaharies hell yeah.
Excellent coverage as always! Congratulations to everyone who survived the week and crazy respect to everyone that thrashed and didn't
A Feller deserves a cold snack or three after that journey!
What have you got for sell Derek?
Hope you have a pleasant journey home, Derek. Really enjoyed seeing you and Jessica at Sick Week. After this experience I just know you'll use it as inspiration for a new project and I'm dying to see what it'll be!
Can u post support for the Canadian truckers and the freedom convoy
SsssssssssssssSsSsSsSssTTtTTtTtTTtt
The guy who's drove his car from Canada is 100% the MVP for sick week!
boosted lifestyle. He has a cool channel.
@@puppetmasterblaster thanks, I'll be giving his channel a sub 👍
Sad to see V8 Billy wasn't there with his twin turbo Fairlane to keep him honest !!
What about the swedish guy? thats even more crazy
@@Shadow0fd3ath24 Two cars, two guys !!
Still mad respect to the gto from Canada! He is what this event needs to be about, street driven to and from the event! Man got a real street car.
Crew Chief will always be my favorite person on these race week events. He’s been begging for 9’s all week, and the second he sees that 10.0X, he instantly says “Alright I’m taking the back seat out.” No hesitation, no playing around. He is getting after it.
Damn that fucking sucks for Shane, he put so much work into that car
oh man. just this week alone has been so much work. broke the suspension then had to rebuild their transmission. really sucks for the guys. hope shane is ok too
They oil pumped it, welded the ring gear, fixed suspension, and still made day 5 only to have this happen?!? Where's Oprah? This man needs a car! Lol
this hurt my heart i feel so bad for shane
No way man that ain't goofy in the thumbnail is it? I've never clicked a video so fast in my life
Like the work ever would have ended? Lol
Brent will get him sorted out. Best Dad Ever.
Im just super glad it was at like 20mph. Always best to happen at launch and pull em right back, track stays clean too. Poor little car.
The speed and the way that Royce jumped from his mustang and ran to help Aydan is exactly why I love the car community! Glad that everyone, who wrecked this past week, is alright 🤙🏻
Everyone thats all in the dumps about Shane & PFI. The BEST thing you guys can do is go grab a hat or a shirt from them and help them get back into it!
FACTS
💯
This should be pinned at the top!
@@danielthompson8637 💪💯
Also we can be thankful that that part didn't fail on the highway at speed because that would have been way worse than where it did let go on the track at relatively low speed.
Damn that sucks for brent and shane they put in alot of work to make it through sick week and to end it like that. But father and son time doing what they love together is the best part of their adventure! My heart goes out for them! 🤘
When I saw the thumbnail, I just said noooo. :(
That's sad.
Those guys always seem happy. Sucks to see that happen to good folks like that. Hope they get back soon. PFI definitely will have my business
That was one NASTY ride that Aydan took! SO, SO happy that he came out of it ok!
1320video--Top notch coverage again!
Oh yeah, seeing that crash in real time was gut wrenching. So glad all the safety equipment held up. Great event!
thankfully that car is built to like 6.50 spec cage wise and such!
Instantly turned my stomach when I saw the rear end start to wiggle on the big end. I’m glad he was able to walk away. Can’t imagine how tom felt back on the starting line
That crash made my heart skip a beat! I can only imagine how Tom would have felt!! Fuck me, that boy has some luck!!
@@someyoungguy6990 And a well-built cage...
49:45 if you looking for the CRX
So I don't have to skip forward he got out OK and everything right? Car's can be fixed there's only one goofy
Thank you for this
For anyone else looking.. Shane is fine, the thumbnail makes the crash look worse than it actually was and it's just fucked up some suspension arms and stuff by the looks of it
Thank you
Took me 5 minutes and 3 ads but I found it.. Thanks
That cop knew what was going on, he just wanted to see the show 😂😂
Yeah, quite a few officers are chill, if you're having fun and being careful they'll just give you that look that says "don't let this get out of hand" and conveniently forget to add that to any reports later on XD
Damn, so bummed for Shane :( doesn’t look like it hit crazy hard tho, hopefully repairable!
Its all repairable. Just a bunch of steel moved. It can be moved back and or replaced. They will get it going no problem.
Crx chassis are still pretty easy to come by so if anything hopefully the drive train is strait
Seems like their front end pieces were not very well designed or made.
@@lunkydog bad welding. the arm sitting there on the ground, the notch at the end is still perfect. A good structural weld wont break at the weld but the metal next to the weld will break and will make a torn up mess of the metal. So that notch should be messy.. but instead the weld never penetrated properly and they have just come apart
@@mifo2000 When CSR repaired the right side, Shane was joking about how nice and professional the welds for the radius arm tab looked compared to his. They thought about doing the left side too, but it was still on the car. Not sure what snapped here. This is terrible as he worked so hard on making the actual CRX chassis and body straight and smooth especially in the front end and engine bay.
Man this literally hurt my heart. I know how much hard work an time Shane's put into his car. I know he'll come back harder an faster then ever though. He's one positive dude!
I'm glad that kid was ok. I was honestly surprised to see him running that fast already being such a new driver.
Certainly looks like they're pushing to get him into the six's sooner than he deserves to be.
@@FantsyPants I would agree. Its a touchy subject and I understand the race car thing with father and son, but it seemed to soon. My dad and uncles ran everything from street cars to full on dragsters. They held the world record naturally aspirated Mopar out of our little engine shop for a long time. They both wanted all of us kids involved in the sport and having fun, but they had us driving a 10:50 bracket car as the fastest. We were all hard working young men and the hardest worker genuinely drove. But we didn't even get the opportunity until our mid to late 20s, and that was only after years of 12 to 13 second runs in our own personal hot rods. Alot changes from ten seconds and lower. Ive seen new drivers total cars just from the wiggle of pulling the shoot....... or the infamous celebration at speed wrecks. Again, just glad he is alright and the car was built with safety in mind.
Sorry to ramble folks, my apologies.
Hey he buiilt that car himself guys..with alittle 4 cylinder..go figure its a demon
@@dosdahrk4504 What are you even talking about? Were not talking about Brents son. Finish the video and try again maybe.
@@budddove6480 fair enough .im reading as i watch and dump brother..multi tasking like a mfker and i was on break .cmon man lol
Shout out to the Swedes!!! 🇸🇪 love seeing them racing here. 🇺🇸
Some say Chet is still stuck there to this day.
One can hope..
😂
Legend has it, he's still on hold to Tesla's customer service.
Lmao 🤣 🤣 🤣 who ever brings a tesla to a drag event should be. I can't stand them.
I ordered a few things from 1320's store. My way of saying thanks for the great videos that bring us along for these great events. What a crazy time for the first Sick Week.
Omg, love seeing Sam and how happy he is to be a part of something amazing like sick week. He's my new favorite guy on youtube lol. That joy he has is just magical lol.
And the way everyone cheers for him just shows the guy is top shelf all the way!!!
Frickkkkk Damm my condolences to the Rex.. keep your head up shane!
Thank you Kyle and all of the crew for everything you put out for us, epic work.
Glad Aiden is ok, that looked a big hit.
Car of the week has to be the V8LVO,, just super cool and the green 53/54 that took third in class, really subtle brutality.
Lookin forward to the rest of the year
35:56 That is the first time I have ever seen someone completely lose traction on a launch, then slam second gear and do a wheelie
I thought the same thing, needs a little rebound up front I think!
@@-tr0n Rebound helped
Sam is 1000% my favorite person to come out of the Cleetus crew! He is the guy we all should be trying to be like!!
Man oh man, Adiens cars "face" showed us what we were all feeling, and whoever caught the car passing on the forks with the crew watching... tug tug the rain string!!!
Yep
100%
Am I the only one amazed at Fred not knowing who Don Garlits is?
I think it was more about him not knowing the exact name of the Museum.
@@lunkydog I mean even after he found it out he was like "we're going to Don Garlits, I think its a drag racing museum"
i had Captions on, and when the cars were in the staging lanes and 2-stepping, it said "MUSIC"
Awesome coverage as always, you guy's!
I loved where VGG car was there and it says " here we have the ice cream garage..."
Shane and Brent and the crew should definitely not be disappointed they worked there ass off unfortunately didn’t go smooth but still y’all made it through every obstacle hopefully it fuels your ambition to keep striving for greatness
It hurt more after watching their rebuild video in the parking lot. (1-2-1 shift and loosened flywheel ring gear). Came back and then this. Jaime dropped a valve - everyone has done this...Kyle...Hondaru (x2).
Dude climbing out of that hopty to get to the wreck was incredible
I know! That's awesome and incredibly 👌!
Hopty? That's the nicest car there
I love watching Sam at 77 hang with the young guys that’s absolutely awesome
Legend has it Chet is still sitting there waiting
Vgg. Derek you killed it ! Love seeing you at these events. Glad to hear there will be more of you. You are all literally 1 big car family
YOUR videos are "top of the line" and I can't get enough!!!! Excellent coverage of EVERYTHING !!! Drivers, cars, times, commerattee, all is SUPURBULOUS!!! Thanks again!!!
Doug has to be one of the most humble dudes in the racing world. El Toro is a beast
The ONLY Ford powered car to get any real coverage, and as we heard, hardly had a spanner layed on it all week; unlike all those LS crappers !!
Well done Doug and Motion race works, El Toro rocks! such a quick and consistent beast well respected,👍🇳🇿
1:04:30 that just broke my heart that was my favorite car on these drag and drive events. Glad the driver is safe though, had to be one sketchy ride!
That car is cursed it already cost a man his legs
It has gotten it's revenge for being hacked up..
Same here, sad but glad the driver got out alive.
@@54raceman what's the story behind that?
Kyle thank you and the crew for your coverage of this amazing event, you cover all the stuff the live stream can't so thank you and well done, all the best from Scotland.
Thank you 1320video, #1 great coverage and #2 not putting commercials in every 5 minutes. You guys are awesome!
Congratsulations to the Swedish wine red Corvette C4 för The win 🇸🇪And for an awsome week. Fast as hell 😃.
And cheers 🇸🇪 to the Swedish Volvo wagon for all the entertainment 😁 Thanks for the great coverage 1320🇺🇲 And a great video. Cheers.

just noticed the McFarland Racing billboard above the right lane score board. That is hillarious
thank god ayden walked away from his crash too, 160+ on the roof into the wall is never gonna be a good time afterwards
Dang it man. Poor goofy, that sucks.

Used to buy 1320 video dvds from the gas station
Same. Never seen them until two months ago n been binging them ever since. Love it.

also please review the guy who drives the yellow twin turbo gasser. he doesnt get enough credit for how unique his car is
You can see some of it on PFI's You Tube. Brent tunes that car.

Blaine had me spit my damn beer out when he said "thats it im pulling the back seat out" hahaha
Thank you again for all of the great coverage 1320 provides to those of us that cannot attend these events.
Shane, Jamie and PFI had a hard time on this one. my heart is breaking for them. out of everyone these guys freaking killed it never gave up and never stopped smiling or pushing. Pillars of the car community biggest hearts out there
Why do people think they own comments?
Those caddies had some of the best burnouts of the whole event so far
Thank you. We try our hardest.
I literally just fast forwarded first to make sure Shane was okay.
Sam is quickly becoming America's granddad we all wish could be at the track with us. Every interview is gold with that man. Couldn't be happening to a nicer guy.
I dont think Shanes car made a single pass without leaving parts behind 😂😂😂
Active weight reduction 🤷😂
You race rc cars and have 10 subscribers atleast he is racing while you’re on RUclips laughing

As a swede, my heart beats a little extra for the V8lvo and the C4 :)
Back in the days when that Volvo was new, if you told me that I'd be watching one of these going 200+ mph, one day... I think I would have called these guys with the "love myself" jackets...
The Volvo races at my local drag strip. That thing is nuts.
As an Australian I can confirm the orange Cadillac burnout would be a good contender at power cruise in the power skid comp
I love seeing Brent so happy for his son. Hate that they had a wreck.. but still, as per usual, they have insanely high spirits.
Even after that nasty wreck, the cage in Shitbox is the exact same shape as the day they welded it in. Getting the right cage to go fast is just so important. Glad he walked away ok.
Loved all the wagons! Great job, great coverage!! Thanks to all that make this possible!!
Fav car was the Volvo wagon. Sleeper that just made 6 second passes look easy and repeatable.
@49:39 is the part where the crash happens if u guys only here for that
Thank you
The amount of so called drag racers and fans that don't know who "Big Daddy" Don Garlits is saddens me
"Our starter died" - I was like.... WHAT??
"Yeah... we ran outta gas.... " 😂😂😂
I'm from Barbados 🇧🇧 watch 1320videos all the time what amazes me about drag racing there are the miles these guys drive and still race the cars but most of all the little guy crew chief so young and so advance into the sport he'll be #1 very soon⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🎥🎬
The shot at 1:05:55 is so powerful.
It actually hurts watching that
I think ol cleeter is at the limit with texas speed and LS platform power time for a big block
Dont think so it can go 6s lol but big block would be more gnarly with twin turbos
I've really enjoyed this weeks coverage that you guys have done. I'm sure its quite the effort so thanks!
The only thing sick week was missing is Leroy in the stick shift class
Leroy would have been bored
The fact that Fred does not know who Don Garlits is might be the most pathetic thing I have ever seen.
I’m 30 seconds into the video but I’m so glad how much credit Shane and Brent are getting in the comments. That kid “Shane” is so much smarter than me I feel like he deserves the credit. Also that father son team hits hard.
So glad ayden is alright. Tom and steve build some amazing cars im glad they make them safe as well.
Yeah, I realize the CRX is better for clicks, but the real tragedy is what happened to the S-box.
@@Skwisgar2322 not gonna lie i paused the video and had myself a little breather. Glad hes okay this sport is crazy sometimes
Did Steve Morris finish? Got to hand it to the sweedes though
@@richgurley610 i thought he did but dont quote me this is an hour and a half video lol. Was just referring to how they built aydens car and how he is okay after hitting the wall at 150+.

Badass content 1320 crew!!!!!!! Keep up the amazing work and please stay safe.
Brent and his son absolutely killed it , they busted ass , never give up . And made it till the end. Way to go guys PFI SPEED 💯
That CRX is a complete death trap. Seriously, that thing is constantly dropping parts. They really gotta use some better parts it's not worth dying over.
ummm its called weight reduction
i'm going to assume that you don't follow Shane and his build
@@reganmatthews6424 I have no ill will towards Shane or his build. Having a car doing 150 mph at the end of the 1/4 is no joke. In the span of 4 days, 3 different suspension parts have broken all of which could have been serious. I wish them well.
Brent and Shane deserve some award.

10:18 I died....like seriously ribs hurt!!
mad respect to the driver in the right lane at 1:05:16 for stopping asap and not even caring about his pass but more so the other driver and making sure they where ok.
Two things to note after Aiden's incident - first is, the Bradenton Safety Safari were rolling and on track before the racecar came to a stop.
This shows they are prepared and professional, an example to Many other tracks (inc ones we've seen in other incidents shown on on 1320)
The second note is, the way the cars panels are wrapped around the cage, showing the cage took the loading and redirected the forces, keeping Aiden safe, showing how all the rules and engineering that has evolved in to modern Roll Cage Design is doing the right thing to keep racers racing.
My heart broke when I saw it was Shane.
Thanks Paul for the fun time with you today. 👍👍👍👍👍😊
Too bad Fred doesn’t know or care about any of the history around Garlits - weird to see someone in his position so indifferent to a legend…
