- Grainau is a municipality which consists of 4 main beautiful villages, in southern Bavaria, Germany. It is located at the foot of the Zugspitze mountain, the tallest mountain in Germany in the sub-mountain range of the Wetterstein Alps.

I was there last December. It was completely white with thick layers of snow. Every morning I woke up and had tears in my eyes. It was so goddamn beautiful, like out of a fairy tale!!! I felt so blessed to have had a chance to be there.

Took two of my buddies to Germany, Austria and Switzerland the late fall of 2021 for a biking and hiking tour. The people and the 3 countries were so beautiful! I lived in Germany for five years and made some great friendships there. I can't tell you how often my head is in Germany! Be safe people and all the best from California

I went to the Zugspitze last summer. The train ride to the top went right by all these sights. It was very beautiful.
I would never leave this beautiful country. My vacation would be watching the news 📺 and seeing how others are living their life. To some of Sweden people one week in America would be like a 5 year prison sentence. Each day I've been dreaming I'm a resident of this beautiful country. That what keeps us going each day 🇺🇲

I worked in Garmisch at the Aule Alm during the sixties only one mile away. We used to take hikes through Grainau on our way to the Zugspitze. You can't believe this atmosphere unless you go there.

Its not as calm as it seems. The place has the busiest street ever going straight through it with massive traffic jams.
Not quite, the street goes around the village but soon they will improve traffic situation in these areas with tunnels going as far as possible from the villages

Just came back from there🤙🙆♂️ Couldn't stop looking back at peaks when leaving. Had a great walk to Eibsee, around town and amazing sunset. Next week challenging Kreuzeck, then Zugspitz!
I Live in Grainau i was Born there and i can say if you See it everyday there is nothing Special🤣🤣🤣but coming after Holidays Back again at Home it feels Like Home is Like Paradies
