- **RIP Jeffrey Waddy --- Thursday, October 1, 2009**
Richard Smallwood & Vision minister with "Feast of the Lord," which segues into "At The Table," led by Renee Adams and Jeffrey Waddy.
This is from their hit CD "Healing: Live In Detroit"
"I had to bring it up to '98..."
Definitely.
One of my FAVORITE Richard Smallwood songs.
I know I'm late, forgive me, but my condolences go out to the family of the late Jeffrey Waddy. It's hard to lose someone you know and love, but at the same time, it's so great a feeling to know that they are now in the presence of the LORD God Himself, worshipping Him forever in heaven.
My fondest memories of Jeffrey is singing in HGC and standing next to him in concert. I have never heard a tenor like him. I love him and will miss him dearly. Pierre
Jeff's Homegoing service was truly blessed. Held at the historic Shiloh Baptist Church in Washington, DC. Everyone present was encouraged as we thanked the LORD for the life and legacy of this fantastic brother-in-Christ. Keep his family and friends in prayer.
The organist played for our choir in college back in the day!
OMG!!! My son was two yrs old in 98 and this was his favorite song off the video. He says he still remembers it lol. Richard Smallwood and Vision used to play at my house around 3am feedings and it would calm them down and keep me awake.
Come over here where the table is spread
And the feast of the Lord is going on
There's joy over here where the table is spread
And the fest of the Lord is going on
There's peace over here where the table is spread
And the fest of the Lord is going on
This song is just so great!! It makes me so happy and excited for the Lord to come!! It is such a "feel good" song.
Love this Gospel tune.It just reminds one where all modern music sprung up from,Gospel.Gospel gave birth to Jazz,Blues,Rock'n'Roll,Soul,Rock,HipHop etc.So for those people who say Gospel is boring. They should check their history and find out the truth.
wow...I had ni idea that Jeffrey Waddy had passed on....what a great voice!! Rest in Peace brother-man...
The good thing is.. you know, most choirs lose their original singers. Richard has about 90% of his singers throughout the years.. Caroline, Renee, Maurette, Darlene, I don't know all his tenor singers but most of them are still with him. That's amazing!
one of my favorite artists of all time!
I love, love LOVE both versions!
RIP Jeffrey Waddy
I totally agree! I was there, and Jeff would have been proud! Those folks SANG....especially HGC!!!
2010 - No more crumbs in the closet. I'm feasting at the Father's table!
Wait, I'm sorry for my last comment. I do not know the name of Richard's Smallwood's singers. I assumed "Renee" was the lady who led at the very end but I found out her name is Carolene Hatchett. That's who I was speaking of. If Renee is the first lady who led during the first part of the main song, her voice is AWESOME, that's what I myself was thinking when I watched this. But Carolene Hatchett is awesome too, not to take anything away from her at all.
He passed away in October from complications with Diabetes.
I must rejoice in the LORD God Almighty the Holy Ghost is movin in this song powerfully. Thank Ü Lord Jesus
i love renee's voice
Yes, I love Renee's voice too!
GLORY HALLELUJAH !!! HAPPY PASSOVER, HAPPY EASTER, 03-31-2013 !!! GLAD I'VE GOT JOY !!!
everything you need, love this, especially after 5:37!
Alright for 'da table now!!! LOL...I like this alot - both versions.
Look at Maurette Brown Clark....love her
yeah i remember when i first heard this song i thought it was a lady saw the video and was like wow he is amazing
Didn't know Jeffrey but they announced his passing last night in our (HGC) rehearal. I really enjoyed him on the HGC album.
Sing it!
yes it is at the table!!!!
love the video!
WATCH MAURETTE @ 5:22 lol
hilarious
Renee is the alto. Carolen is the soprano who lead @ the end.
Renee is an alto, all day long! Just because someone has has some height in their voice doesn't mean they can stay up there all day. That's the difference.
@PrazHymn83 and Bama Brewton, I love this song and just so happened to read the comments and noticed the remarks on Jeffrey Waddy's passing, which happens to be the same day and year that my first grandchild was born.
It's over here! At the table!
At 5:22, Maurette said forget it, yall got that...lol!
Renee IS AN ALTO.
RIP Uncle Jeffery!!!!
He passed away last night!!
Me, too!
You're right, Lenky....she's an alto. Her sister Angie is one of the sopranos.
@latifajacksonreedlee Yes, she's a member of Vision
omg!! JoBo's lick at 2:38 is breathtaking.. great pocket too
Agreed my friend, agreed.
ooooh, so that's how he died. I recently found out, but I could never get the reason or cause. Man, that's devestating.
lol yeah she jus tearin it up in tha background lol
Because I know them both.
at the table... al I need is at the table!
NA MESA ESTÁ TUDO AQUILO QUE PRECISO! (PORTUGUESE)
i knew renee wuz a soprano!
I love this song. I am trying to figure out why there is only one mic...
Angie Bell is on the top row, third from the left, to the right of Carolene.
Reneé is an Alto! she stands next to Charisse on our right ther left
lol, i just saw your comment...and at 5:33 it's party time
lol
When and how did Jeff die? I knew him from Blair HS days and just heard. I am so sad about learning of his passing?
Look at maurette brown clark

Does anyone know where I could find At the Table on the wow gospel 2001 version???
@tinacjones Well, confirm away. Sadly, it's true...
What happened to Jeff? He carried the tenor section really well
Anyone know where I can find the original version? Like that ollddd school gospel lol
renee can sing but y does she sing alto when she obviously is a soprano
This the greek "agapé" or christian meal from the Evangelion
wait...how do you know they are sisters?
LOL! It's really not too high for her. But she wasn't prepared LOL!
@wildcat10 YASSS !!!!LOL!!!! too funny
which one is Angie?
LMBO
keneke_randall5@ says Haleluiah @T.T.
If Renee was singing in my choir and I had a enough sopranos, I would put her in the alto section, despite her soprano voice. Her high register sounds kind of squeeshy unless she really revs up for it, because of how she "curves" her voice. But she is a sanger with great range. I just prefer her lower alto voice.
how did he die?
