@@joekirkendall2275No. In recent FIFAs if you have a high potential player that isn’t growing/playing much and you loan them out, they’ll increase like crazy depending on how high the potential or how little growth they’ve had

Barf should sign a FA goalie for a season, loan at Fang Li so his overall goes up, and then start him from the following season on. He clearly has potential, just isn't ready yet now.
you should check out the Fifer Realism Mod for the next series, specially if you are going for an italian club and all that, it would be fun to watch you play with it since you could sign a lot more wonderkids that will come with faces, since it adds a ton of them
Get a big goalkeeper for the bundesliga games to get that top 4 but let Li the legend play the cup and conference games his final chance to proof himself, Li bring home the cup!
Barf should do a Brighton like career mode where he would have to use a youth academy like in this video and to gain the funds to improve his squad he will have to sell players from the academy to get the funds to address the problem areas in the squad as he works his way to the top of the game!
