  • The Fiber Track 660 is a hemp decorticator built on proven and tested technology with documented testing at a capacity over 1.75 tons per hour. The modular system provides flexibility for custom processing facility design, additional capacity, and future upgrades. It produces cleaned and sized hurd, and long line fiber for hemp-based materials and textiles.
The entire system is able to fit within a modest footprint with the flexibility for installation into already existing buildings, or combining with already existing equipment.
Material is meter fed using an automated round bale infeed system, providing the Fiber Track 660 decorticator unit with consistent material supply.
Metered material is transferred into the Fiber Track 660 decorticator unit where it begins separating the stalk. The 6 roller pairs complete the decortication as material passes through the machine. Each pair is timed to prevent any mechanical pinching or cutting of the fiber, and is individually adjusted for speed, tension, and clearance. Larger stalks or infeed inconsistencies are passed through with reduced potential for jamming as each roller pair individually adjusts to compensate for the inconsistency.
Fiber and intertwined hurd is transferred onto a shaker table. Loose hurd falls through the table and is combined with the 660’s hurd output.
Hurd is then transferred into a secondary hurd cleaning unit which continues to separate hurd from fiber. Fiber is returned to the shaker table while hurd is transferred for screening and sizing.
Small, medium and large hurd sizes are chosen using replaceable screens, and provide customizable outputs. Small and medium hurd sizes can be packaged directly out of the machine for applications such as hemp-crete or high-end animal bedding.
Large sized hurd can be transferred into a dual stage hammer mill to refine product down to a consistent particle size for applications such as plastic composites.
Fiber leaving the shaker table is transferred into a secondary fiber cleaning unit. Fiber still containing attached hurd pieces are combed from fibers as they pass through the machine. Additional cleaning of fiber can be achieved by stacking secondary fiber units in series. Clean fiber is collected and can be packaged or re-baled for transport to textile applications. Removed hurd is transferred back to the secondary hurd cleaner for further cleaning.
All system components have dust control through an overhead centralized dust collection system. The centralized unit has easy accessibility for cleaning, reduces any losses of products, and keeps the facility clean and safe for personnel.
All FiberTrack 660 equipment is available as a complete system, or as individual components, and can be tailored for businesses exploring the hemp fiber market, or for full scale processing plants looking to make a move to the future of natural fibers.
The FiberTrack 660 is decortication engineered for today’s hemp industry.

why is there no website hyper link attached? How much is this unit with installation and training? How does it compare to Canada's Hemp Train decorticator?
