I am so delighted to hear that Noel isn’t working with David Holmes anymore, what a relief. Hopefully Noel can return to his songwriting best, because Holmes was wrecking Noel’s creativity.
Adam Hipwell I think the influence David Holmes had over Noel’s songwriting with that album was significant and I think the quality of the songs suffered for it. Dead in the Water was by a long way the best song on the album and Holmes tried to talk Noel out of putting it on the album
David Holmes is more of a Soundtrack creator for movies and TV. Seriously, this whole thing with Noel is definitely fun for him and the band....but musically its bizarre and abstract. I found myself listening to more of Liam's work because it sounds more "Meat & potatos" rock -n- roll with really catchy lyrics and well sung melodies that stick in your head. Like the old Oasis days.
more nose lies at 4:20 ...noel knows how to work the mixing desk. he bought not be a brilliant mixer but he knows exactly what he is doing on the desk. he also knows chords but claims he doesn't.
Cheshire Homebrew it wasn’t really Liam’s album. Without the record company Liam couldn’t produce an album, it would never have happened or it would’ve been a poorer collection without song writers.
Mark Stephens Noel wrote it, Holmes is a producer. I wonder if Noel could write songs...I’ll have to have a look into his past maybe there’s some evidence, definitely?
Noel must find it really funny that Liam’s new single ‘Shockwave’ is a rip off of Robbie Williams’s ‘Man Machine.’ If Liam eats enough pies he could be the new ‘fat dancer’ in Take That. 😂😂😂
They were mates and from the looks of it drunk and on drugs most of the time. I've heard the rumours too, but don't believe they were lovers. I know quite a few middle aged female fans like to fetishise the idea. Lol
Most certainly. The latest single is embarrassing. I thought his first solo album was very good, but since then, "Dead in the Water" is the only track that has caught my attention.
That's more like it! Much better chat than the last one.
Noel looked more like a rock star back when he wasn't a rock star lol
Brilliant thank you all. Keep keeping on! (Please.)
Love solo Noel
Love this. ♡
Brilliant interview
Different angles ,fuckin superb.
Black star dancing. The woman singing is a joy. ectronic music. Noel Gallagher the best (genius )
Oh are they fighting …come in 😂😂😂

xyzxyz997 U mad???
Adam Hipwell No, I’m not mad mate, that’s my strong opinion
@@xyzxyz997 Thats fair enough mate, sure. But what is the basis of that opinion? How are you defining creativity mate?
Adam Hipwell Bu creativity I meant the songwriting

"Like the old Oasis days" hurry up and move on
You know nothing about David Holmes.

Shockwaveeeeee. Love you noel haha
very mature, forgot your 'as you were'
Am I the only one who prefers NGHFB to Oasis?
Most definitely
Yeah.
Yep.
Yes 🤣
Seems like it, hey?
You gotta love Oasis but Liam's last album smashed Noel's out of the water imo.
Agreed. Liam's had soul to it. Noel's was mediocre to me. Apart from Dead in the Water which is one of the best song's he's ever written.
Cheshire Homebrew it wasn’t really Liam’s album. Without the record company Liam couldn’t produce an album, it would never have happened or it would’ve been a poorer collection without song writers.
Goncalo Amaral that’s how all albums are made to varying degrees
Didnt noel write his with holmes 🙃
Mark Stephens Noel wrote it, Holmes is a producer. I wonder if Noel could write songs...I’ll have to have a look into his past maybe there’s some evidence, definitely?
Shockwave
you mean "spread your love like a fever"?
@@mattiemclean9882 .. if that's what you think then that's what it is...
Love how you really captured the spirit of this interview. Absolutely spot on analysis.
Fair do's walking from there to watch City. I'll never doubt Noel's blue credentials again. And they were crap then too
can i have a guitar please noel 🤞
Who told u noel is generous lied
One time ex roadie;-)
He should be locked up for that haircut in the top right
Up the stokies
Psychedelic???? Wtf??? Its fuckin soft rock
Slightly uncomfortable being reminded of his past..

Noel made millions from ripping off songs mate
Leon I’d rather be a fat dancer take that look alike
Than a dwarf Parker thunderbird lookalike
Like Noel does
You prick
Bubs from coca-Cola commercials and children shows. Not boy band members.
wait until you find out about cigs & alcohol
I've heard s rumour these 2 had romantic relationship in 90s.
Could be just gossip tho. U never know tho do u?
Who said that liam ? Post oasis
They kind of look like it in the old photos.
They were mates and from the looks of it drunk and on drugs most of the time.

I like Clint but I wish he stop persisting with his ridiculous barnet. Mate, you're going bald, just shave it off, stop living in denial.
Noel's new stuff is weak last best track he done was 'if I had a gun'
Most certainly. The latest single is embarrassing. I thought his first solo album was very good, but since then, "Dead in the Water" is the only track that has caught my attention.
@@eamonnmaccionnaith5761 it sounds more like the Lemonheads but in a bad way or a theme to a dodgy American sitcom
@@eamonnmaccionnaith5761 what about Sail On?
Does anyone listen to what noel says he makes his music now for him NOT US he dont care what we think and fair play to him
Yeh but.... Who built the moon was shit. Why is a disk jockey dictating to a genius composer on how to write?
Noel was a roadie for his band, Inspiral Carpets, before Oasis. All the photos are from those days.
Boon wrote (amongst many other top tunes) 'This Is How It Feels'. Which is as good as anything that Noel has ever written. ;-)
