I am a big fan of Shankar Jaikishan for their beautiful songs but I hav noticed one thing, their best high pitch songs are with Md Rafi sahab and I strongly beleive that no other singer would have been able to sing their compositions that time. I doubt SJ would've have composed those songs if there was no Rafi sahab.
They did compose because they knew Rafi sahab is singing their every high pitch song beautifully with ease. My honest opinion.
