Something that helped me a TON with overcoming my p0rn addiction was the book Sex, Purity, and the Longings of a Girl’s Heart. I also went to counseling. I struggled with p0rn for 9 years… and now I’m two years free! Praise the Lord!

Might be unpopular opinion but fasting & prayer has personally helped me tremendously in healing my heart from sexual sin that I allowed to creep into my life

I remember when I was so addicted to porn I started doing it as a "job" , I was heavy into drinking and drugs....I rejected God All the time and made a mockery of Christians.... There was So many times people tried sharing the gospel with me and I rejected them time and time again, I had so much anger, so much darkness within me, I was a slave to the enemy and I didn't even know it, I thought I was living "free".... Long story short , it took me to be at my Lowest when I was more suicidal then ever before, I was crying out to my dad on the phone and he begged me to pray, I was angry at his response and hung up....moments letter I fell to my knees and was So desperate and cried out to God.....not even knowing if I was being heard or not.....SO much poured out of my spirit, I don't even remember half of what I said....all I know is after that moment, something hit me, I felt something I never felt before....I was Never the same again, I felt God....I didn't even know what that meant, but now I know it was fully God, I felt a sense of peace and like I wasn't alone ... I felt in my heart that God was really true....he was really....Real....I couldn't explain it, but from that day forward I have Never been the same, over time I gave up all of my addictions and repented for all of my ways ... I now have been completely sober for 3 years and stopped doing / watching porn for over 5....God IS TRUE he IS, the GOD OF MIRACLES!!!!!!!!! If he could change me from the wicked woman I once was...I'm telling you, he can do a mighty work in ANYONE!!!!! I thank the Lord everyday that I'm Not who I used to be, ALL GLORY TO GOD!!!!!🙏💜

Not sure if this was the intent behind the one question about spiritual leadership, but going through seasons when your spouse is in a spiritual slump is so hard and can feel really defeating for women who believe in submitting to their husbands in that way. I'd encourage this person to pray relentlessly for their husband, that the Lord would renew the joy of their salvation, and the Spirit would lead him to better spiritually guide and serve his wife. I see my role as a wife as being a spiritual encourager to my husband, and try to do so in those times by continuing my spiritual disciplines of prayer, journaling, "quiet time" (not my favorite phrase for that, but you get what I'm saying), and worship. When my husband sees me pursuing the Lord on my own, it often stirs his heart to do the same. Just my two cents!

Love this! Your take on "enhancements" was really interesting to me. I had no idea you have had filler before! I find myself so drawn to the idea of lip fillers (insecurity of small lips) but would love to hear more from you on this topic. The worldly perspective is if it makes you feel better/less insecure then do it... I'd love to hear a more thought out biblical response to this cultural idea as it gets more and more common.

I have to say this!! as I’m watching you- you literally seem so kind about not judging any one and I’m so thankful for a Christian being an example of leaving it to God and not us to judge or correct if that makes sense? To the first time question, I would say embrace the awkwardness and also don’t expect the moment to be like they paint it in the movies. Just go into it with the thought that you are getting to know each other; each other’s bodies, rhythm, intimacy. It’s not about performance. It’s about a connection.
And also, it doesn’t only have to do with the size of your part, the size of your partners part can have to do with it as well. But above sizes, if there’s a lot of tension in your muscles down there, especially if you come from a traumatic pass or purity culture, your inside muscles can clinch in a way that will not make the experience as enjoyable for you, until you are able to work through it or see it in a different light.

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. -Psalm 139:13
I encourage people to cling to this verse when they are feeling insecure about their body. I have big ears and a big nose. I was bullied as a child, but still then, I would claim that God made me in his image, so why should I change any part of it. Hope this comment serves as a blessing to anyone struggling.

Kian I gave my life to Christ recently after He came to get me. I was living in New Age beliefs and was raised in an atheist household. I got to know God, Jesus, through Him and the word and then later on immersed myself in christian culture. Anyway this has more to do with your other video about christian culture but I just wanna say I'm a young christian who got to know Christ through Him and not through the church and I resonate so much with what you say. I'm not sure what the point of this is I was just led to share this with you and thank you for being a great role model of what it means to follow Jesus 💕💕💕💕 GOD BLESS

I just feel so much peace watching your videos. I truly feel no judgement from you, and I will not lie, that is something very rare from Christian RUclipsrs. It seems that with most of them, there is some passive aggression, delivered with backhanded remarks and "jokes." However, YOU always deliver Christ's message with compassion and a desire to help, not to shame. This is so important for women to hear when they struggle with their sexuality. You are the one reminding them that they aren't alone - not only are there other women facing the same struggles, but Jesus is always with them. Thank you for all you do 🙏

Hey!! ❤ I get what you're saying about the 'spiritual maturity' thing. I don't struggle with feeling like my husband needs to be spiritually more mature than me but I think like you had said I trust my husband has his time with God how he best connects with Him and trust that God is speaking & leading him; I do see the fruit of it! However, I think the concept of spiritual maturity isn't unbiblical when you look at Hebrews 5:12-14, where the author is addressing his audience should have been teachers but rather they are STILL in need of milk rather than solids. The author goes on to call those who consistently need milk children & those who are "trained" by their constant practice of discerning what is good vs. evil (and living it out) consumes solid food which is for the "mature." 1 Corinthians 3:2 addresses this too. I think if a believer is not operating out of compassion & is prideful (like you mentioned) than they are comparing their faith walk to others not from a position of truly wanting to disciple or grow others; which others will feel & the enemy can come in and try to stir up thoughts of offense/shame. But I don't think it's wrong or unbiblical to recognize when someone is still very young in their faith & is in need of someone discipling them to help them grow deeper, empower their giftings & help them live a life of obedience! Like you said, we are all on a journey and every journey looks different! But I also recognize the maturity others have from those who have more wisdom, life experience & obedience in many areas that I haven't walked in! And vice versa. I don't think it's shameful to recognize, unless someone is operating out of a wrong spirit (like pride, as you mentioned) and/or someone isn't intentional with the thoughts they think (their internal narrative; 1 Corinthians 10:3-5) and allow thoughts/lies of shame to take up their headspace. Just some thoughts I had while listening. I hope that all made sense, maybe I just understood wrong. Love this channel & genuinely get so excited everytime you upload! 🥰

I just wanted to add something regarding the question of "does sex/ the first time" hurt: an important point of having sex truly is the atmosphere and your trust in your partner. If you can relax around him and open up to the experience emotionally, your body will follow and be more loosened, which will help so much, because your muscles won't be tense which could lead to pain during sex. That's also why talking about sex/ sexuality with your partner improves sex! You feel safer, connected and you feel seen - which will have an effect on your body! Our minds and bodies are connected, they influence one another ♡ And especially for us ladies it is important to understand that sex is meant to be enjoyable for us! This gift from God is equally for men and women, to enjoy and to grow and mend closer together ♡ Think of it as joyful and playful, it can be inspiring and uplifting, I hope you experience it as such! ♡ [and also: take off the pressure! The first time doesn't need to be perfect and it rarely is ( which doesnt mean it wont be still beautiful!) Like everything in life, you get better at what you're doing the more you do it ;)]

Not a criticism but I really wouldn’t suggest jumping straight to ‘dilating’ yourself if s*x is painful. If it hurts it’s much more likely just to be because you’re not lubricated enough as opposed to you being anatomically too small. Again not a criticism, just want to make sure no one is hurting themselves unnecessarily! Also it’s totally normal for it to hurt a bit the first time.

    • @livjames3092
      @livjames3092 2 года назад +2

I agree with this! I was thinking the same, like yes if you’re not into it or sufficiently lubricated which can happen out of nerves the first few times it will hurt a little. Nothing to be scared of though

I think when it comes to plastic surgery its something you have to ask yourself is it going to glorify God or myself, because if I’m a be honest people who get boobs and butt is because there not satisfy with who God made made them to be, God made us beautifully wonderfully made, we need to learn how to love our imperfection not trying to look like the world standards, as Christian’s our focus should not be in our body’s but in our characters, our inner self because, it wouldn’t matter if you get bigger boobs, it won’t change anything how you feel in the outside,
Because it’s in the inside matters

For then you will be seen as innocent, faultless, and pure children of God, even though you live in the midst of a brutal and perverse culture. For you will appear among them as shining lights in the universe,

Run as fast as you can from all the ambitions and lusts of youth; and chase after all that is pure. Whatever builds up your faith and deepens your love must become your holy pursuit. And live in peace with all those who worship our Lord Jesus with pure hearts.

Hey Kian I love the video! Just a little downstairs girly education. Painful sex is not always due to the size of the vagina but for some women it is from unwanted pelvic floor contractions (the muscles involuntarily tighten up when penetration/tampon insertion is attempted making it painful or impossible...there are many potential causes of this), and through pelvic floor exercises or therapy, dilators, and breath synchronization one can train their mind and body to be more comfortable with penetration. :) (the word for that is vaginismus)

when giving advice to fellow sisters in Christ, especially younger ones, relating to the topic of purity and sex, i think it’s vital to remind them to refrain from sex before marriage. while i agree with you to some extend on your answer to the second question, you neglected to explain God’s design for marriage as a picture of Christ and the church. In that sense, YES, the Bible does call us to be pure in a sexual manner. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice who died for His church. He was pure, holy, and blameless. If being pure, like you said, is to love God and keep His commandments, then His children should STRIVE daily to be holy, pure, and blameless, just as Christ was. Part of loving God is to refrain from sex before marriage. We are called to be pure in ALL aspects of our lives, and that includes the way we use our bodies. (ephesians 1:4!!!!) I love how you reminded others that His blood is enough to cover your sins, whatever that may be, because His blood is pure - I just wished you would’ve maybe furthered the conversation !!!!
