I think after that season players would want to join a leverkusen because under xabi just as much as they would want the biggest teams in europe and it will bring higher caliber talent and make existing players want to stay

I think Leverkusen are in a relatively good position to keep the majority of their stars, Alonso has committed himself to the club, Wirtz has been deemed untouchable by the club president and their fullbacks, whilst being crucial to their success this year, aren’t irreplaceable.

To be fair, i think wirtz was already on the radar of most big clubs before last year. And apart from him I dont think they have a lot of super interesting players for big clubs. I mean I see frimpomg leaving and maybe adli or tella.
But i think chances to hold wirtz just grew dor leverkusen.
