I really like how much bigger the van is than them. I had the 02 toys growing up, and you had to cram everyone in the back. This visually looks like everyone could get in, with room to move around.
I guess when it comes to turtle vans, bigger is better.

Jonathan nice review! Albeit there has never been an official TMNT soundtrack from the 1987 cartoon. However luckily the theme song was released on CD back in 1990 on a compilation disc long out of print! The CD was made in Australia and is titled 30 years of Funtastic tv toons! It's the only release that has the theme song presented in stereo and not mono as it appears on later compilations! I managed to track down a copy! It's awesome!🐢🎧💽🎵

This van looks like fun and really reminds me of O.G. TMNT toys. They did a pretty good job incorporating some old school feels into it. And yeah…Hasbro could give us some more budget-friendly vehicles too. Hopefully they pay attention…

@@NostalgiaUnboxedDid you happen to get their Last Ronin figure? He isn’t bad! He has decent articulation, nice paint and a bunch of accessories. And, he scales with the vintage figures…so he’s pretty small. He’s like what a vintage TMNT meets MOTU Origins figure might look like. And, their “Classics” turtle design is pretty dated looking, but it does work decently. Playmates seems to be content with mostly churning out kids’ toys (which they are pretty good at, IMO) and upteen million versions of the Classics design. I understand some kind of TMNT thing is in the works with Mattel, but I’m not sure of the details or who will really be running it. Maybe a TMNT/MOTU mashup or something…

Got the last one at my local Target (according to the app, at least). Cannot wait to open this thing up and fire the pizzas at my daughter. Before anyone yells at me, relax, she has a Power Ranger face mask she can wear. =p

I buy all the Turtles now because I am able to. Back then, I would maybe get 1 or 2 toys a year aside from birthday and christmas. Now, I have my own money, and can set aside some money for the cool things I never had as a kid. The van looks big enough to ensconce the Super7 Turtles, along with all the NECA Toon Turtles.
It’s pretty big, but Super7 is too large for this unfortunately. You can get some NECA to well enough
I watched this on 1.5 speed and it makes the video extra hyper and amazing. I was really curious to see how well it shot the pizzas out. I remember my friend had the pizza shooter toy when we were kids. If I recall correctly, the original TMNT 80's/90's Turtle Van didn't have the pizza shooter. This one looks like it might be a good Christmas present for my nephews.

Why would they waste pizzas? Maybe sewer lids would cause more damage. But then there would be open holes thru the city.. There's no win

Shredders in Mutant Mayehm, his VA credit was on IMD for a few hours before it was removed, I think you're right tho post credits. Also allegedly a item number for a mutant mayhem wave 2 was found i na Cali walmarts computer claiming theres a Shredder figure coming.

I really like the van. The only van I have is the 2012 shell raiser and that van is very bland to me. I probably won’t put the Mikey sticker on it because I feel like that sticker doesn’t fit with the rest of the van and I have the Mikey figure so I don’t need the sticker on the van. I’ll definitely get this soon!

I have a smaller set of turtles anyway I want to try with it. Kind of on the fence about the turtles in this line. The 2012 playmates turtles also had that problem with the pupils looking off in two directions. But the vehicles look sharp aside from the stickers. I may leave that mikey window sticker off. Because its cheesy.
Yeah, the window sticker is an odd choice. A simple toon style blue window would have been perfect

Hope you can rerelease the arcade cabinets again. I purchased the Marvel Legends and absolutely love it! If there is a next time I wouldn’t hesitate to get the TMNT, Street Fighter and Tempest cabinets.

Interesting reason. Because you have to apply them or you don’t want stickers?
A bit of both. In my experience, self applied stickers will peel off faster than factory applied. Additionally, as you mentioned in the review, the image used on the window stickers could have been better. I would even have preferred a solid color to evoke tinted windows.
