We totally redid the motor on our Allis Chalmers 190XT

  • Our Allis Chalmers 190XT started getting antifreeze in the oil so that's when we knew we had a problem. We put it in the shop and we got to work. It took us three months to get all the parts back and put back together. Everything touching the motor is brand new so everything underneath the hood is completely restored. Thankfully we got it put back together before hay season starts and now we can finally put the old beast back to work.

    A little hesitant on the cold starting I notice....just like our 200 series Allis-Chalmers tractor.

      It only took a minute to start because we just redid the motor. Once it got broke in it pops right off in the cold weather without plugging it in

    What s the hp power of this tractor? Is this 4 cilinder diesel? Do you know the lifting capacity of 3 point? I will like to buy one of this tractors.

      6 cylinder turbo diesel, 300 cubic inch, 94HP in the Nebraska tests. One of the finest engines ever built.

      @@wymple09 The engines were good but the hydraulic and transmission system can be somewhat crappy IF the seal between the two is worn out. They both use trans-hydraulic oil FYI.
