I still think you want to use Vegetas active skill in like at least 70% of situations. You pretty much only use vegito to nuke the last phase out of orbit similar to family kamehameha gohan but the difference is that if you cant, well vegito is kinda buns without his taunt and then goku proceeds to be absolutely useless meanwhile vegeta allows goku to be a character still not that its the biggest problem ever (for now) to be forced to stick with vegeta in slot one, but that drawback has never aged well
@@spuhgetti Im NGL, Goku is way tankier than you think. At least on my team he has never sold once and has just been shredding pretty much everything and taking hits without a worry at 55%

My head canon is that they used the year 3 sv pose as a reference because that fusion condition was borderline impossible, so they do the pose and now can't become vegito. but that's just a theory :) .
Nah, Vegeta is an amazing tank, especially after using the active. And Goku hits even harder as the active skill buffs him as well. So, it might be worth it to break the potato against a boss who doesn't attack a lot. We got a few of those already.
