This is legit. I do think if you want to kill opposite faction quest NPCs you should have to PVP flag. It will help mitigate griefing, but still allow for those badass RP moments.
Then leave ankh and soul stone. That's changing a class. Those two class abilities are basically save from death effect. This is the same mechanic as ice block, feign death, bubble...
No, it’s not because enemies do not stop attacking you. When you ice block the second you come out of ice block yes you can blink, but they can still slow you catch up to you and kill you. Feign death can be resisted. Enemies do not stop attacking you when you are bubbled. The second you come out of bubble you are still in combat. Soul stone, and ankh bring you back after you have already died. If those two abilities are in the game, it is nearly impossible for a shaman or warlock to be killed.
I like the way you see the game but , if everyone is able to trade it will be like in the trending video ''Leveling on official hardcore servers" where a player is full enchanted lvl 1 , the lvling process will not be hardcore anymore (its a boosting process in a way) , if the game is like that maybe people wont be stuck lvl 25 and less , to access more of the late game , maybe its a good idea but its not the same hardcore journey , maybe no marketplace and only able to trade within 5 lvl max will get your item soulbound to prevent abuse is too much ! i totaly agree with you PVP is 50 % of wow classic , i did Rank 12 in the vanilla classic and i want to be able to defend orgrimmar :) ! maybe they should add a rules where you can tag only 5 random battleground per day to prevent AFK in alterac to rank up and let player try to search in the openworld to get more honor than 5 battleground per day , i think pvp battleground should be only with harcore server player . haha imagine you are a the end of the battleground , you are full of walocks dot but you dont wait and leave the bg then die in the real world by the dot lol . i would like to see something like you die with a warrior lvl 40 ,go agane but your next warrior you create can have rested xp until lvl 40
I agree. I’m mostly excited about grouping up and having a hardcore economy. They definitely need to prevent boosting. Why disable pvp weapons in Azeroth? They just way too op or something?
What do you think about rolling rogue, and gathering mobs up on to someone and vanishing? Should that be a mob aggro reset or we go again? I ask because this exact thing has happened to me twice. Both times by someone on my own faction.
Well, like I said, enemies should not be able to attack you on a hard-core server, unless you are on their threat table. So that is a change that I feel blizzard should make.
You want them to do away with griefing yet you want people to be able to grief by killing npc's? You want Blizz to fix all the starting zone's that have to many people in them yet you want people to be able to grief by killing npc's to make it harder for people to get out of the starter zones?
Killing NPC’s is not something that is against the rules of World of Warcraft. Every other server allows you to kill NPC’s. They get along just fine. If people want to protect their NPC’s, they need to fight back against them. The amount of people that are going to be willing to risk their life to kill an NPC in enemy territory is going to be extremely small, and they are going to be very easy to fight against. Just being on a server where everyone has one life is going to deter an insane amount of griefing on its own.
The premise of the video does not make sense. You say less rules is better, let people play however they want unless it hurts you. Then why have hardcore servers at all? Just play regular classic and delete if you die. If you only want to have the small changes you mention, fair enough. That is a reasonable position if you value player freedom over a shared experience where it actually means something to reach 60. But it is just as reasonable for those of us who want no trading/AH until 60, for example, who have the opposite preference.
How does that affect your game? That’s kind of what I’m wondering about this. A lot of people have opinions that you shouldn’t do this and you shouldn’t do that, however, it does not affect your hard-core PVE character one bit, so why does anybody even care. You can think of it as training grounds.
Idk I mean in all reality if someone gets injured at all alone in the wild they are probably gonna die. If someone gets some pretty crazy hardcore injuries in combat field medics are amazing at saving lives every day. Bg's would be this kind of scenario, right? I get it, I really do and I am just really torn on it. There is no way to truly keep t it hardcore and have bgs, but do HC players deserve a shot to pvp and stay Rambo, probably.
@@danbrown4193 Well at the end of the day, this is not real life. It is a fantasy world. In a fantasy world it is not a stretch to think that there could be "training grounds" for people to practice combat against one another. Death in there can just be the same as knocked out. I mean if people don't like pvp on a HC server, then they should not que. But nothing is lost or gained by others who disagree taking part is what I am thinking.
Well done. All I would add is set leash to zones. ie Grom'Gol Guards you mentioned would automatically unleash at the zone border.
Well, if they do what I suggested, they would not attack people who are not on threat table so leash distance makes no difference anymore
Just found your channel recently and i love what you all are doing for the HC community! keep it up!
Great points mate the only thing i disagree on is stv arena should still be auto flag for the risk v reward trinket
Yeah, I agree with that

i totaly agree with you PVP is 50 % of wow classic , i did Rank 12 in the vanilla classic and i want to be able to defend orgrimmar :) ! maybe they should add a rules where you can tag only 5 random battleground per day to prevent AFK in alterac to rank up and let player try to search in the openworld to get more honor than 5 battleground per day , i think pvp battleground should be only with harcore server player . haha imagine you are a the end of the battleground , you are full of walocks dot but you dont wait and leave the bg then die in the real world by the dot lol .

Gonna watch this video soon I haven’t had a chance
agree 100% love it
Is that the guild wars 2 ui but with a hardcore log on the health?
Yep
I agree. I’m mostly excited about grouping up and having a hardcore economy. They definitely need to prevent boosting. Why disable pvp weapons in Azeroth? They just way too op or something?
Yeah, because they are blue quality weapons that you can achieve without fear of losing your character.

HC servers are gonna be a joke. Griefers are just gonna grief their own faction in dungeons.
it will be their only chance , we will have to blacklist every griefer that troll in a dungeon and its always a healer

One more point 0 pvp gear atainable, bgs will be so fun with only gear attained through HC measures

The BG thing just isnt for hardcore. The idea that you could "die' 40x times in bg and still be hardcore. Gtfoh
