Why are RUclips bothering with 4K when their maximum refresh rate is still half the speed of television, which has been 50 & 60 Hz since the 1930's? Apart from that, good work!
Katie and Jacob advise you to visit Valaam, this is a monastery in Russia with an interesting history, a real shrine and nature there is magnificent, there will be something for you to shoot!
Beatiful video! I love birds of prey, and they made me want to throw my laptop away. I'm using dual screen and before that I have naver seen a difference betwen 4K and full HD. Now I know it is because of my laptop's touchscreen.
Jacob + Katie Schwarz it's possible to upload in 4k and it's easy for people to watch it, you just didn't do it properly by the looks of it. Also, it's not in 60fps.
One more comment: I noticed many of these Magnificent Birds of Prey have tracking/identity tags. ~ I'm now sure that this aided in the capture of their Beauty!! ~~ Truth, Peace, Freedom & Love2U James
Many of these birds were rescues and were being rehabilitated, hence some of the tags. To take the tags off would have put the bird in danger. We were very careful working with animals, many would not allow us to get within 8 feet, so we used long lenses to get close without agitating the animals.

I just can't wait to see what you will do when you get the 6K sensor!!! How did you capture all this? Are you working with someone to make a birds of prey documentary?
I'd love to see an Attenborough documentary with this footage quality. Shame we're not there yet as they have to leave cameras running for hours to capture some elusive animals which in this quality would make an absurdly large file, or use specialised equipment to film in the depths etc. One day tho...

Hehe, same boat here. :) 4K is big enough so we don't see the horrendous quality of RUclips compression (unless there are some fast scenes).
Daniellynet I dont want 4k for my tv because even with 720p you can see peoples make-up so 4k will show it all up!
