This is really helpful to see the stats before we choose which to upgrade. I don’t want to be a big marshmallow 😂

No offense but I don’t understand why your against purple stats in fine tuning. I have rolled on ALL the stat options to see what is the best and majority of time purple has the highest rating usually 47 or more. And when I got the damage stat for my main weapon it brought my damage on stat screen up a HUGE amount. There was only one instance that I rolled where a regular stat gave same 47 rating as purple stat. But even then the purple stat gave my character big increase in skill strength which greatly helps my bio and shieldgun expertise a lot. So I think the title is quiet misleading it really depends what the player is trying to accomplish with their character. Lastly I can’t speak on fine tuning for melee but I will say anyone who polish melee weapon is wasting polishing because in polishing it only effect the item your polishing meaning that polishing your melee and heavy gun WILL NOT INCREASE DAMAGE IN YOUR MAIN AT ALL. The best thing to do is give majority of ur polishing to main. For example my polish is 30 main. 25 heavy. 10 melee and 20 max armor and all remaining gear hat gloves pants shirt etc

I have nothing against purple stat. Rating is total bs as it carry different weight when it comes to your survival. Damage carry highest rating but does it increase your damage significantly? No as 100 points of damage only add 10% as 10 damage points only get you 1%. Its easier to test yourself. Cook 2 food, 1 with armour piercing and the other with damage. You will find that armour piercing will increase your damage more then the damage buff. Also in my video i stated that as a f2p, armour is hard to come by so increasing your armour is beneficial as it reduces the incoming damage from all sources while purple stat Max HP and Max Armour only increased the amount of damage you can take but the the damage taken is still the same. Unless you have very high armour, then Max HP and Armour will be helpful. I wish i can give you the formula but its kinda complicated so ill leave you with the link so you can look into it by yourself.

Also regarding polishing i agree with you but here we are talking about fine tuning and i also specifically said that fine tuning is added to your character even though you dont use melee as i know people might ask.
By the end of the day its no right or wrong in building your character and you can build it whichever way you like but i glad you brought this up as we can both learn from other people's perspective.😉
