Just remember that canada is huge and has a ton of cultures in it than whats represented in this video! We have the Inuit up north, the french in Quebec and the east coast has tons of different dishes that are also considered very canadian. What she ate was a good start but nowhere near represents the country as a whole
I recommend (I don’t know if youre still in Canada or not but next time too do come,) eating bannock. Bannock with jam spread on top or coated in cinnamon and sugar is the best. And I also recommend just showing some native peoples foods because it’s simply respectful and it’s always fun to try out different foods of different cultures!

You need to try maple taffy whilst you are here! Maple season has started and you could find some in grocery stores as well as maple butter, some maple taffy cones and maybe sugar pies too! Other Canadian foods to try: Nanaimo bars (not a chocolate bar) Oh henry chocolate bars Coffee crisps Lays ketchup chips And you could try going to a sugar shack as they should be open right now for maple season (try the hotdog sausages in maple syrup if they serve it, it’s so good!!)
I went Banff and to that restaurant while on a business trip to Calgary and absolutely loved the food. Loved the experience of trying different meats. The cheese fondue was my favorite.
Oh! I recommend going to Calgary and going to this Black sheep bakery, it has THE best pistachio pear filling croissant, I live in Canada and this is so nice to see🥰
