Timely hits from Jose Miranda, Manuel Margot and Edouard Julien made the difference in support of another solid Simeon Woods Richardson start. Down on the farm, highlights of Austin Martin, Matt Wallner, Luke Keaschall and Brooks Lee are included in this one.

A couple things I meant to mention but was too busy being passive aggressive: Carlos Correa had a great defensive game for the Twins and Royce Lewis played seven innings at 3B for the Saints.
Correa's defense might have saved the game. Couple of great plays up the middle and that tag - WHEW!

Tom on the failed to mention front. Baseball has fixed a long standing oversight and is now including the Negro League stats in the baseball record books. If you find a reason to do so could you give this change a shout out. It’s really great news giving some deserving players greater recognition. Just a thought if you feel it is appropriate. Thank you sir.
While I think that was a well-intended move, quite a few people’s opinions I value on the subject feel like this is an inappropriate way to handle things. MLB is effectively trying to absorb the history. More extreme reactions have been that they’re trying to whitewash what is an ugly part of MLB’s history. It’s complicated.

Margot is not my favorite player by any means, but I’m pleased with his performance today. Hopefully he can keep playing like that against lefties.
Are Topa or Stewart expected back soon?
Stewart should be on rehab assignment before too long but Topa was transferred to the 60 day.
Think there is a future for Miranda at 1B or just a rotation with him and Royce at 3B/DH?
All of the above? He also might be the guy who goes down when Royce comes back. I know he’s looked bad at 1B, but it doesn’t really make sense. I just think he was uncomfortable there. He didn’t have much experience. He has all the physical tools to be good there.

Manfred keep saying how he wants younger fans, but then they go and copyright all the big RUclipsrs from using RUclips highlights of the games make it make sense. Those were the people that were drawing in the younger people, especially fuzzy who come out and said he can’t do his, recaps of the games anymore again make it make sense.
It sounded like Fuzzy was able to work something out with MLB. That’s great, I’m happy for him, but those of us with less than 500k subs will just have to work our way forward through trial and error, I guess.
MLB are a bunch of wannabe losers! They want interest fans need highlites to talk about the games. Mess hall is a veg player! Have Dobnack take up the knuckleball he’s running out of time
