I still don't know if I'm pronouncing Jyn Erso correctly.
I also don't know if I'm getting the blaster name correct:

It is, unfortunately, pretty expensive...
But it has nice lights though. The best out of the three, IMHO.

The film prop is built directly off of an AR-15/M4/M16 upper and lower receiver, so the blaster based on the film prop still has the dust cover (the spring loaded flap door) and the forward assist (the angled button detail on the right rear). The mag release button is off the AR-15. Star Wars blasters have always been directly based off of real world firearms dating back to the 70s with few exceptions, so this is nothing new.
Pretty sure the blaster color was chosen because Hasbro is expecting a lot of children's costumes to be using this as a prop and to be fair, it does have the profile of an AR-15 which is a real safety issue in the US these days given the number of real AR-15s that are in private hands.
Already have one stripped down to the bare components, shell ready to paint and electronics ready for rewiring. It uses a small sound card to control the FX LEDs and a .5W speaker (speaker can be upgraded to a higher wattage). The IR LEDs are wired off the circuit protection board mounted to the motors and are protected by SMD resistors, so a direct circuit to the motors might be necessary to avoid burning out the LEDs or sound card when using high amperage LiPos or anything over 2S. There are two separate thermistor protected circuits feeding off the battery tray; one leads to the sound card and the other to the three inline switches for the two circuit breakers (mag lock and access door lock) and the motor rev switch. So it looks like the three switches can be swapped for a single 15A microswitch for the rev button, wired directly to the LiPo/XT60 plug in line with the motors. The fourth stock microswitch is tripped by the trigger and activates the LED and sound FX circuit separate from the rev circuit.

So jealous of your Nerf stocks, it makes Aussie stores look incredibly anemic. Planning on getting one of these, hopefully the blue one, to make up for my wife's sad experience with Chewbacca's bowcaster. Every Star Wars fanatic deserves a /good/ blaster!

At least your country has the option of purchasing rapidstrikes, stryfes, rampages and roughcuts new in box, not to mention getting Alien Menace line early. Australia literally has none of those anywhere.

Sorry, man. I just passed one up in store because it's currently out of my Nerf budget. Hopefully it won't sell out in the next couple of weeks. Might be cheaper to paint a Spectre barrel, Raider stock, and Modulus scope to match the one you have.

I don't like how in front of the magwell Tyers like a foe magazine looking piece. It looks a little goofy.
I believe that is based of an A280C blaster from star wars, correct me if I'm wrong .
Actually, all the Star Wars weapons were based off real life World War 2 era guns! If you look at Han's blaster, you can see that it's a C96.

That totally did not occur in my mind at all.
Hahah I guess to me, their weapons all look pretty futuristic. So when I saw this... from the barrel... to the hand guard... to the mag well... the dust cover... forward assist... and even the faux charging handle on the other blaster... it just made me feel a little disappointed. haha

The way it's made, it's a parallel circuit for the LEDs and sound card... including the thermistor, capacitors and resistors :)
