Okay so I haven’t done a tutorial in quiiiite a while so I’ll admit this video isn’t my best ever haha. If you have any questions, or would like to share better methods you use, leave them in the comments!
Okay so I didn’t even know what a Pauldron was until I saw this video, I still have no need for a pauldron at the moment yet I watched this entire video because you made it interesting!
This a great video I knew the basics for making capes but I never thought of tracing it or painting so thanks. I'm sure others will also find this video informative
Hey watermelon I know you know me as the guy who makes funny comments every vid but I wanted to take a chance to thank you for the great content you make. I know it’s no longer easy job to make vids almost every day but you do it because the day you left yt I was so sad because I loved your animations/MOCs but then you came back and I bursted with joy so once again watermelon you are truly the best.
I’m about to try doing that soon when the 501st battle pack comes out and since I’m looking to at least get three I want to maybe turn one of the Jetpack troopers into an arc trooper
I was the 3,000th view! I thought that was cool for some reason. I used to make custom capes out of fabric but it might be easier to do it the way that you are doing it with paper!
I actually tried making pauldrons a while ago. It, uh.... let's just say it they didn't turn out the way I hoped. One type of custom pauldron I found to be really useful though, I just took any kamas I had, folded them up, and placed them on the minifigure. It looked pretty good, in my opinion. Anyways, great video, again. I'm super excited for the next video. Have a great day, my man.
Thanks dude! Yeah they can be tricky to make, but since it's less risky than actually painting clones, it's easier to practice this method. Just keep cutting paper and trimming until you have the right shape!
cool. this tutorial clip reminded of stuff i used to watch when I was younger. those old learning shows. drawings shows. goes with one of those ways to be creative in lego custom building and modifying. i dont know if you done this tutorial but wish to see one of creating rock work.
Great job dude on showing us how easy it is to make a poldren and I just want to know is there another way to make a poldren for a phase 2 Captain Rex?
I can’t wait for May 1st!!! I’ve already got BrickLink orders on the way, and more to come. (I’ve already started building, hoping that the rules are the same as the last 10 000 and 20 000 subscriber rules.)
Nice!! But they are the same rules, it's gonna have to be a fresh MOC! Unless you've built it in the span of one month only, so everyone has equal time to make their MOC
This is super helpful man! Im gonna be making a stopmotion with my own designs clones(Btw, you can make decal designs and print them out instead of painting them so that its easier to make.)and I need a bit of special stuff, and photocopying CAC Cloth isnt gonna work that well lol. Thanks for the tutorial man! Btw, you should use the Flame Trooper for a stopmotion, would be great lol.
Yo this is going to be sooooooo helpful like being dead serious thanks soooo much I’m not sure if you remember me I’m from awhile back but yeah happy to be here hope your like is great outside of YT
Can you please make a Waist Pauldron Tutorial because I'm currently trying to make a custom Commander Fox Trooper and it would be a huge help! P.S love the videos! keep it up!
How do you get the patience to like move the clone legs just for 1 picture? I made some with paper and colored it and when I got the imperial shuttle set (like the recent one with Ben kenobi and R2 D2 and with the clone army customs that arrived, I have more pauldrons I would love for you to react to like any of my Star Wars stop motion vids Free content amirite
Okay so I haven’t done a tutorial in quiiiite a while so I’ll admit this video isn’t my best ever haha. If you have any questions, or would like to share better methods you use, leave them in the comments!

Wow! This is super cool! I really love how enthusiastic you are in your videos. Keep up the great work!
This a great video I knew the basics for making capes but I never thought of tracing it or painting so thanks. I'm sure others will also find this video informative
Just to let you know thanks for doing that video because now I can make my own poldrins and capes.
Those Pauldrons are SICK I wasn’t going to make one but now I feel like I HAVE to make one
I love the glossy shine on the incinerator trooper’s pauldron
Thanks! The paint job came out a lot better than I expected tbh haha
This is useful, also try using nail scissors for the smaller holes in the capes

I’m about to try doing that soon when the 501st battle pack comes out and since I’m looking to at least get three I want to maybe turn one of the Jetpack troopers into an arc trooper

This is so helpful thanks for helping me!
Your troops are looking awesome
I was the 3,000th view! I thought that was cool for some reason. I used to make custom capes out of fabric but it might be easier to do it the way that you are doing it with paper!
Oh nice! Fabric is obviously better quality but it's much easier with paper haha
Thanks this helped me a lot.
Thanks! I can use this in some of my videos

Thanks dude! And I'm considering making something like MOC tutorials in the future :)
that would be cool. i learn on my own when it comes to lego building but tutorials help too. teaching.
This really useful. thanks bro.
They look great
When I made my own I used a hole punch and it fitted nicely but I guess it depends on your hole punch. Nice vid
Yeah I guess there's different sizes, but I think the standard size is the one I used in the video
Can you do a totorial of how to make a snow clone trooper
Thanks the Pauldrons look good
Cool, I might try this.
This is awesome cause I was trying to make custom cauldron yesterday. Thx a lot. Love the vids
This was a lot of help
I made some costom capes very similarly
I did it, it worked and looks pretty cool. Thanks! 😃
Glad it helped!
Also I’d recommend fabric to make them if y’all can get them
Isn't it easier to use a real Cape and cut it?
Awesome! I’m trying to make a custom phase 2 rex
Great job dude on showing us how easy it is to make a poldren and I just want to know is there another way to make a poldren for a phase 2 Captain Rex?
One step closer to making a cool costume trooper then make a stop motion
Nice!! Good luck with it! :D
Thank you this was really helpful
How do you make a arc trooper pauldron
I can’t wait for May 1st!!! I’ve already got BrickLink orders on the way, and more to come. (I’ve already started building, hoping that the rules are the same as the last 10 000 and 20 000 subscriber rules.)
Rebel Trooper Oh dang, you’re going all out! Best of luck in the contest, I am going to enter too:)
Nice!! But they are the same rules, it's gonna have to be a fresh MOC! Unless you've built it in the span of one month only, so everyone has equal time to make their MOC
Watermelon Studios ok
I started making the moc on the sixteenth or sometime around then
@@rebelpilot7015 Okay. If you can finish and submit it to me by May 15th we should be all good
you should do a waiste cape tutorial
You are my favorite youtuer I was so happy when you started making videos again
Should I build an umbra moc?
This is super helpful man! Thx so much dude earned a sub :D
Interesting video, I use the same paint 🎨
I have a idea for a moc the battle with kenobi and general grievous .
You should go for it!!
You can also use fabric too, but the thing is that they are hard to cut through
Thanks! Really helpful.will there ever be a new series like beta squad
A new series, yes. What it will be about, you'll see :)
You gave me a lot of ideas about my Legos! The fabric you use is just plain cotton fabric?
I have a hole puncher that fits perfectly on a Lego body
Can I do it with a fabric
This is sooo helpful
Nice tutorial
Bro p2 Rex 2013 I’m so jealous 😱
Thx it works on my stormtrooper
I’m glad you made this!
It was pretty helpful
Very cool
What I do is poke a hole with a uninked pen and push the hole down on a minifigs neck and it expands to size.
So cooooool!!
Wow that is awesome
Cool I will definitely use this video to make customs ps how do you make custom commandos?
I've got a tutorial from 2014 up on the channel! :)
So use a paper?
This is a very nice video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks!
Watermelon Studios you are welcome. Keep up the great work 🙂🙂🙂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice, I was about to buy one from CAC but I love this one!
Can you please make a Waist Pauldron Tutorial because I'm currently trying to make a custom Commander Fox Trooper and it would be a huge help! P.S love the videos! keep it up!
Wouldn't the waist pauldron be the same as the shoulder pauldron just put it on the waist?
nice tutorial
Thanks Buddy!
What if I just cut up a cape
Then it would be easy for you
Is there a way to make waist capes?
Probably, but I've never tried it. I put a picture of one at the end of the video that you can try to cut out the shape of
Watermelon Studios I’ll try, I’ll tell you the results
Great vid!
Thank you I now know how to make pauldrons
Thx for the vid I need it
Thanks soooooo much!
I really like these tutorials
