Our flesh daily screams for our attention daily but i like what Ps Paul says ... tt it's at the cross all our fleshly desires are nailed. So as children of God we have the power of Jesus to help us overcome temptation if we know n are willing to come in submission to Jesus every moment of our lives ... i don't think Jesus frowns when we enjoy good food n f'ship but it's when tt becomes our idol, we need to surrender bcos only Jesus is worthy of our worship.

In many years as a Christian I've never heard clear teaching on how to take up our cross daily (plenty on other topics though). See 17:28 For the maturing Christian who wants more than just warm feel good sermons, Paul clearly teaches how to do this. Pass on this excellent video on to your Christian friends
