Hey everyone, "Memories" is a song about that huge wave of regret we feel when we finally realize a relationship has absolutely ended and there’s no going back to save it. There’s suddenly a sense of clarity that hits and we can see clearly all the mistakes we’ve made, all the things we could have done differently, all the things we wish we could’ve changed sooner about ourselves to be a better partner but now it’s really too late. All we can do now is to take everything that we learned from this expensive lesson and make sure we don’t repeat those same mistakes again, if we’re ever lucky enough to meet someone who makes us feel the same way again. Sabai is back with more amazing tunes! This EP is really something. Even though Sabai barely changes his style with each song, it works out so well every time.
I gotta say, that while Save You had been my preferred jam for such a while (and still is), this here is actually pretty better than his previous one (Broken Glass), mostly in terms of the feeling and production, even the drop here is pretty great too. :)
I keep seeing critical comments (and those who rated it very low) here, which I respect a lot. And in other promotional channels, they liked it. It's like I'm seeing the duality of man. This track is really good though.
After countless relationships that haven’t worked as the fault of my partners, this song hits a little different. Being through the hell of multiple failing relationships that you can do nothing about, and being abused several times over... you’re never the same person after emotional hell. Never able to forget everything you’ve been through, no amount of therapy is gunna solve that. Just gotta try and learn, I suppose. You’ll especially never forget those very few times your developing issues were the problem, it’s not your fault you’re different now, but you still have to work on yourself... Always try to be the best partner you can, that way you can look back and feel at least a little solace in that you did your best.
This should be a single not an EP due to only this song with the existing 3 tracks that Sabai released on Monstercat, which is pointless cataloguing this as MCEP190 when it should be MCS1078.
@@KKris-h yeah but by all means the 4 tracks contains only one new track and 3 existing when it should be 2 new tracks to be an EP then have the 3 existing tracks.
@@KKris-h you are literally not understanding my point to my opinion of why I find this EP pointless because it should of contain another new track at the same time as Memories instead of just this song when I mentioned it just sounds pointless to label it as an EP with 3 existing tracks from at least 4 months to nothing more than 8 months ago before this EP came out, and yes you’re right an EP is at least a 2 song album when it has gone down to waste when I wanted it to be catalogued as a single instead.

Sabai is one of those rare artists who manage to recycle their style, to barely improve it and milking it over and over again. Seriously, apart of the featuring(s), it's almost exactly the exact same thing.

Couldn't have agreed more. The production on this is very generic, and something you hear from this site decade ago, maybe even 5 years ago (outdated, overdone future bass melodic type ot tracks). It just lacks substance that makes you want to come back and listen to it. This will be the only and last time I'll listen to anything on this EP. If I want to listen to thjs type of melodic tracks thats actually well produced, I have plenty of artist in mind, one of em being Au5.
