I’m in graduate school, and this is so helpful. I go to sleep listening to this, because I’ll be taking the licensure exam soon. I’ve always thought the intake procedure would be rough, having to ask so many difficult things and not discuss the answers. There is one facility where one person did only intakes, and she said she always wanted to know how people are doing. I know I was on the other side of the desk, at one time, and it didn’t feel great. Are counselors ever allowed more time, after intake, to help the client process, or debrief?
Welcome to the world of counseling! It's great to hear about your interest in evidence-based practices like acupuncture. There is indeed growing research supporting the effectiveness of acupuncture for various conditions, including pain management and mental health issues. Your background in science will be a valuable asset as you explore these integrative approaches. Keep curious and open-minded-there's so much to learn! I’d be grateful if you were to share what you found most useful from the video. Also, if you're interested in more videos on the topic or if you want to explore my video library, you can use my AI: allceus.com/AskDocSnipes.
I’ve taken the examination I missed passing by one point , one question that sticks out in my mind is “DURING AN INTAKE WHEN QUESTIONING A 15 year i identify his/her family what should you keep in mind “ help 🤷🏽♂️
It is the stated point of the video, so it’s worth it to me to watch, in case. It seems to have helpful information, either way. But I’d love to know, too!
I told my Assessment and Diagnosis class about your channel today and how helpful I find it, hopefully you'll get a few visitors.
So glad I found this channel

I never heard that question, in class or in tutorials. Now I wonder, too!
