Dr. Martin is the best teacher I have ever seen. He is gifted beyond measure, in my view, in simply and clearly presenting even the most complex topics. I can't recommend enough that all students of public and global health follow his videos. I do ... after spending 45 years working in global health and can't thank Dr. Martin enough for all I learn from him.

Thanks for that very kind comment Richard. A comment like that, from the man who wrote Global Health 101 is humbling beyond words.

You earned a new subscriber. Thanks so much for this brief and clear explanation. I always wanted to understand the relationship between systematic literature review and Meta Analysis and this video did me a big favour.

I have a question regarding a systematic review I want to conduct. I want to analyse both qualitative and quantitative studies as there aren't many RCTs on the subject I am researching. Should I do a mixed-method, convergent style systematic review combining a qualitative approach and using the PICO format and possibly a meta-analysis, then using the qualitative research to do an etiology review section using PEO (Population, Exposure and Outcome). Is this normally done or am I making it up and would you recommend it?

Thanks Greg for explaining in detail how to do a systematic literature review and meta-analysis. The last chart you show - at the bottom of it says, Favours duel chamber \ Favours ventricular. Can you tell me what this is please?

Thanks for the question Rod. Those are the two interventions being compared in that review.
