That’s awesome. Right when you passed the Shores Resort going south, I was like “hope he don’t speed up here”, and sure enough Shores cops had someone pulled over in the same spot on your way back. Never fails. That’s where they camp out and wait 😂
All taken care of: ruclips.net/video/udr2QXaiKD4/видео.html&t= It always amazes me how very few drivers use radar detectors knowing that they are legal in Florida as well as in other 48 states, illegal in VA only. Drive safely.
Thank you Costas. You really got me with that question, been to Daytona 7+ times and drove on that road over 50 times, including crossing the street on foot, but never got me to check the nature of those blue "something". But absolute not tiles as the ones you install in the bathroom, they would brake as soon as first car drives over them, they might be bricks painted in blue (color of the Ocean), that's my only guess, Costas. Have a great week ahead. Chris
Being it's February 2021 now, And I was just there last Summer in August 2020. It's odd to see some buildings that are no longer there now, but were there when this video was done. And the Treasure Island Building seen at 12:34 is now been gutted for years waiting to see if it becomes something again?
Thank you very much, your comment will always be on this video so anybody who's interested in visiting sexy Daytona will see details about City Island as well. Be safe and enjoy the summer, also the upcoming Coke 400. And Happy 4th of July. Chris
Such an amazing, cool vid! Wish I were in Daytona personally. One day...perhaps! Thanks, Chris. for your efforts in this vid. Just wondering, how come your vids appear flawless...smooth road travel as if there are no shakiness/bumps on the roads? Do you edit them or YT does it, just asking.
Wherever you see those Blue-tile like roads they represent a passage to drive onto the beach itself. (except at Bethune Cookman University where their road intersection is represented by school colors). By the way Chris the next time your in town go feed the Aligators to your right at the 13:03 mark its kinda fun.
Of course they wouldn't be the kind of tiles used in bathrooms. Those are too slippery and they would be dangerous if they were used on a road. But maybe they are the kind that is used on sidewalks (concrete paver blocks) or maybe it's just the asphalt which they have engraved it and painted it in different colors. As for the bathroom tiles they wouldn't necessarily brake if there weren't any cavities formed between them and the mastic.
Video was blocked in some countries so I got rid of the copyrighted song or songs that was/were creating the damn issue. Sorry about that but I got nothing to do with the damn RUclips Copyright Police. I simply HATE IT. Be safe out there and enjoy the summer.
All three copyrighted songs are back on the video, but now no idea what countries is the video now blocked in, since April 2014 RUclips has changed (again) its policy and now does not allow uploaders to see name of the countries where their video is blocked. Just the idiotic message "video blocked in some countries".
I appreciate the ride along Sunset Dr.
