@@Rhapsodyizz hey now I've done decent with vendread in a few events. It's my go-to for MD events because it's not good enough to ban anything but it's still a modern deck. Executor with core/houndhorde/revenant is hilarious if your opponent doesn't take it seriously. Had a guy with a full firewall dragon + knightmares setup lose to it because he thought he could bounce it.
It can be tough to get off the ground, but the resource game you get with Slayer and Battlelord is a personal favorite. I used to think it had a weakness to high attack monsters, but now I see why Scarvenger has the tribute effect.
I'd say first 1/4, Reich Heart drawn in a weird pose & his Funko Pop form feels so out of place compared to the rest of Visas lore. Honestly, Scareclaw itself is kinda forgettable when you see Tear & Kash were meta defining on both sides of the world, as well as Mannadium on the TCG side.
@@raydhen8840 it's not just them imo, although they are the standouts. Some other stuff that comes to mind for me is Visas looking photoshopped on in Scareclaw Alternative or the punch in Scareclaw Sclash not feeling like it has any force behind it. And I am the biggest hater for Tearlaments' art. Everyone except for Reinoheart (and consequently Kaleidoheart) is just standard anime girls but their hands and feet are blankets. Kitkallos's head stands out too much and this bleeds over to most of the other arts she's a part of, namely Grief which is just weirdly proportioned overall. Also a more minor thing, but since Visas himself is pretty blue and purple he doesn't stand out in the Tear arts. He's supposed to be this strange guy traveling between worlds but he just kinda blends in on the Tear arts. It's also a bit of a problem in the Scareclaw arts (at least, in my opinion) but less so. The Kash arts really nail making Visas look like a guy who doesn't belong but considering how red they all are that was inevitable lol.
I play scareclaw and Mannadium and I'm always amazed at just how Light Heart is designed. It's probably the only card in modern memory that not only is not once per turn on its search effect but is a link 1 that can use itself as material for another copy if in the MMZ. It didn't once occur to me that the mini scareclaws still applied their effects to the damn funko pop
@@Argenta_Rosa Yes and no, the link 1 can only grab the field spell if it is summoned to the EMZ and you cannot use itself as material for itself if it is in the EMZ
I never even thought about using lightheart as a attacker. God thats some good stuff. I didnt even realize the 3*s gave HIM their effects too. Keeping this one in the pocket.
I want that Krawler exodia deck list Edit: Said that before even watching the combo because it looked to be based, and now I realize that we get to see pretty much every card, but for some of the extra deck
"La creatura" comes from a 4chan post where they just captioned some silly pic as "Dios mio. La creatura." Every other fandom has adapted it on their own way.
It just means "this creature" or more "the creature" in Spanish but is used as a meme. Usually it is used for small things like cockroaches or gremlin personality type characters.
1:24 "I guess we were hoping to hit some Zombies there"
Well... they did. Ash Blossom 😂
That Vendread player really knows what they're doing, love to see it
Im always happy to see another Vendread brother in the events. The archetype is one of the coolest out there.
That made me think: "Did Konami base revendread slayer off of Spawn?"
@michaelglbrrt17 A mix of both Spawn and Resident Evil yeah.
I just wish it was able to beat anything outside of Duelist B

Its crazy how the first half of Visas Lore has such weird art and then the next half is just straight bangers

Where do you mean does the first half end and the second one begin? After Tear?
@@xCorvus7x 1st half - Scareclaw & Tear
2nd half - Kash & Mannadium
I was living so blissfully having forgotten Funko Pops. How could you curse me with this knowledge once again?
Fumo
That Scareclaw duel is low-key making me want to make funny Scareclaw OTK

It also is one of the relatively few modern cards with a once per duel condition!
I WILL ash the link 1 that searches the field
I WILL be angry when it turns out it was in your hand the whole time
I WILL NOT learn
The best part is that the link 1 isn't even once per turn, so they can just do it again

7:02 Hearing Luke speak spanish is such an experience, btw "The creature" or "La creatura" is the nickname of Neko-Arc
He's Puerto Rican, he knows quite a bit of Spanish.
Also "La Creatura" has been a thing for a while before Neco Arc lol

I'm terrified before even opening the video. What has science done??!
Lunalight custom hand
Zombies my beloved.
Just sayin, in some events Tri-heart is banned but Light-heart isn't.
What's even the point of allowing Scareclaws if you're banning their boss?

Traptrix game ended with max c
The Scareclaw duelist made a ton of mistakes btw, missed out on Reichheart draw and could have ended on Baronne too.
Yeah but negate board is boring. I live for the funny stuff.
Id 100% get a light-heart Funko
Scareclaw is so based
"Exec-u-toor" He's an executioner not an exec at some company
