Regarding the question of Sikh history, it has been victim to centuries of influence from Nirmalas, Udassis, and other non-Sikh or anti-Sikh forces that have attempted to dilute or distort Sikhi. This is the reason Gurbāni is sealed with _larivār_ as a “read only” document. Clearly, the Gurus pre-empted the likelihood of attempted distortions (it had begun in Guru Nānak’s time with his own son, Sri Chand) and guarded against it. They use to wear Seli topi (Loose woowen Silk cap).. Do you know that Baba Nanak use to put tilak?? Suppose you feel that Sikhism was another religion then it means that Sikhs were also getting killed by Jihadis like 5 th Guruji who was sikh as per your logic.. It means that hinndu mothers gave their elder sons to sikhs so that Sikhs could fight.. Otherwise how could sikhs fight with Jihadis.. So do not falsely claim another religion things.. Who taught Shastar Vidya to Hargobind Maharaj and Gurugobind Singh Maharaj?? If hindu mothers sacrificed their elder sons to save Sikhs the other religion.. Hindus can also say..
