I just began my journey w watercoloring let’s be real obsession and subsequent over spending learning curves burn piles and ultimate total respect for the art and all the discipline time practice and challenges it presents. It’s perfect for me! Being a d d n o c d there is always more to learn or a nuance I’m forgetting about. Should keep me procrastinating on work n studying n housework for the rest of my life

What paper , brushes and paint do you use ? I’m just starting out with watercolor and would love to know. I bought some water color pencils.. I have been shaving them off into a palette and then mixing in water I do that bc the palette I got from Walmart was super chalky and left a white film on my work… I’m on the hunt for the best paint , brushes and paper!!!
This is so beautiful! But it's sad that most student grade and some professional watercolor paints don't have ox ga in their ingredients in order to make the paints flow easily for wet-on-wet techniques. 😔
KP you can buy a bottle of ox gall separately and put a couple of drops in your water cup, then get your brush nice and wet, before you start to paint, and your paints will slide into gorgeous blooms like this!😃💖
