- 2024 #BMW R12 and R12 nineT, A Heritage Reimagined
BMW Motorrad has introduced the 2024 BMW R 12 and R 12 nineT, two retro-inspired streetbikes. Both models feature a robust 1,170 air/oil-cooled boxer twin, updated cylinder head covers, and a new steel trellis frame. Optional upgrades include heated grips, Hill Start Assist Pro, Cruise Control, Option 719 packages, and Shift Assist Pro. The R 12 nineT has a distinctive aluminum tank and a teardrop-shaped steel tank. @AutoBlitz9023

BMW R12 adn R12 NineT 2024 .. congratulation
Why didn't you film the red chopper? You can see him in the background
R12 NineT 2024 is so uneccessary ; The only thing that the R nineT needed was easier access to the air filters! Losing power and adding riding modes proves that the original R Nine T was just right for proper bikers. This poncified version with added tech and riding modes, and paint schemes is for the girls, its a girls version! No slur on girls! because real biker girls will opt for the untamed R nineT with the 115 BHP that the original comes with, if you are crazy enough to release those horses! Re-imagined R12 Nine T 2024 is for softees !!
the drop in power is likely due to emission regulations rather than power modes. The added tech makes it much easier for riders coming from GS or R to convert. I just sold my R1250R for this, because the old RNineT lacks a few things I find essential for me so I've been holding back till now
e.g. a fuel gauge, keyless ride (i hate keys dangling), and more comfort. R12 has a shorter tank which will make the riding position less aggressive and more comfortable
besides all that I also like the styling. Removing the sub frame makes it look cleaner overall. The single seat hump feels less like an after thought. The included tail tidy solution is also a plus (I know that 3rd party solutions exist for r9t, but I prefer having my bike fully configured to the way i like out of the factory)
overall i think it's a great evolution. I don't think dropping a few hoursepower would make this a bike for "softees". i rarely go above 200 km/h on my R1250R and i don't think most naked bike riders care about top speed that much
