I use similar things on my pedalboard. I find them especially useful on my Boss MS-3 where I have to hit two switches at once to change banks, Makes it so much easier.
Haha. Yeah, I must admit I've been listening to Loveless a lot the last week. Kevin Shields still has my Godzilla fuzz he borrowed from me for the last tour. Grr. Love that album, though.
@@BrettKingman haha I remember you lending that to him and not getting it back! Sounds great though! I cannot wait to hear what you have in store for us! Cheers!
Sure! Why not? They're only pedal toppers and do not alter the functionality of your switches in any way. They simply make it easier to depress. Plus they look cool. :)
It's so funny that something like these pedal toppers can generate so much hate online. lol and smh. I personally love these things and the more standard plastic colored toppers and just don't see a downside to using them. Yet the amount of vitriol from some folks on these things is simply mind-boggling. Are people just simply going crazy from too much pandemic lockdown?
It must be lockdown syndrome, because these things are easy and effective for helping keep shoe dust from wafting down the button shaft and mucking up the actual contacts. Until I found out about these, I used balloon ends, but they can be problematic when the balloon rubber gets jammed between the post and shaft as you stomp. Yes, I said rubber jammed between your post and the slot. Tee hee.
I haven't seen any of that hate but I must admit to not reading forums much these days. Aren't they just inexpensive footswitch toppers? Am I missing something?
Somehow get the feeling a musician saying "Mooer Shrooms?" to a dealer is not a new phrase.

@@BrettKingman Awesome! This song gave me MAJOR Loveless vibes; it's so great!
