We noticed that after the last election there were predominantly opposition members who got the airtime. We switched off in 2023 and rely on Shane’s Kangaroo Court and the Guardian for honest reporting.

I no longer watch the ABC due to the connections with Murdoch. I remember when the the Drum was nothing more than a platform for the IPA and Tim Wilson was a regular. The hosts were happy to help raise his profile enabling him to win the seat of Goldstein.

Great to see someone taking notice of this stuff, I thought I was almost the only one who felt like this. Was appalled but not surprised by the appointment of Kim Williams. A previous head of the ABC ( before Ita ,who was bad enough) was a Murdoch stooge, Michelle Guthrie. Many of the journalists are ex Murdoch people. I watch a bit of ABC news but find it hard to stomach much of it.

Once he took over I stopped watching my all time favourite Insiders . Haven’t watched ABC since as it’s ALL gone to shat . That Spears thing is a disgrace to journalism and an outright creep . Miss our Barrie who had integrity , intelligence ,political experience and was always informative . Once that Ita bird took over it was a foregone conclusion that the sleaze bag Murdock would ultimately take over . He’s a cancer the way he spreads his tentacles. The only saving grace is nobody watches tv anymore do they, used to be a solid abc watcher and listener havnt been for 3 to 4 years and the people i talk to say the same thing of late and thats from 65 to 25
most families still do watch tv, maybe you don't, but most everyone i know does. ABC radio is also still very popular in regional/rural areas

I would have thought this challenge pales in significance compared to the potential damage to humans and their man-made structures that significantly increasing volatile and unstable weather patterns may have in the coming years
The latest flooding in Dubai has been attributed to cloud seeding and has been admitted as such. Flooding in Hobart also raised questions about cloud seeding prior to the event. Cloud seeding has also been found to be killing off flora due to the metals involved, trees become waterlogged, the aluminum and other metals used damage root systems. We won't hear much about this on mainstream media or the frequency of manipulation involved. One wonders about flooding down the east coast, won't get any accurate data there, either.

The #LNP's reshaping of the ABC under Ita has had pretty pernicious & far-reaching results with most of the Board, the senior management, and many staff now being just LNP/IPA/Newscorp plants. It'd be pretty interesting to see their "retirement plans".

WAS an ABC fan The Drum, News and 7.30 years but changed in last 12 months. The Drum gone (why?) The 7.00 news lacks a lot of news and 7.30 has little to attract me with its mediocre regular compare. Then there is a continuous quiz show most of the time. Turned to RUclips now which is great pity. No doubt many have used their feet too,

In the myopic classical music community, everyone is mindlessly celebrating because Kim has been deeply involved with classical organisations like Musica Viva over the years. These would be the same people and the same narrow views that celebrated the appointment of Peter Garrett as Arts Minister back in the day. He turned out to be a dud, even as an advocate for the arts. They will be similarly very disappointed if they think Kim will govern the ABC with the equanimity it requires. An extremely intelligent man, he is a micro-manager who has already signalled a determination to guide the ABC politically. That may or may not be according to his former employer's wishes but is unlikely to be for the benefit of the vast majority of Australian either.
ABC is now ‘Murdoch LITE’
ABC....its not what you say but what you don't say that worries me. They should have independent guests and when they are tied to a particular media outlet that bias should be declared. Insiders perfect example and afternoon briefing what a joke.

2:52 I'm not much of a fashion girl.... but it's not just the content that's gone pear shaped at the ABC! I've got an old bed quilt I could modify if they want me to come on to give an inverted pear type vision and outlook on that topic.
