This has got to be the best match of the tournament so far. Almost everything you would want in a football match happened here. It felt intense the entire time even though I knew Wrexham had won before I watched the match

It's actually good that this match ended up close....a 4-1 blowout might have meant some more "boisterous" exchanges of supporters after.
Ok they clawed back 2 w 10 men on but we had changed it up and gave it all against a mid-table Championship side. Boss our lads!!!

Please help me understand fellas, I’m trying to understand and live this game. How does Wrexham have a third round FA cup win and then have another FA Cup third round win today? How does the FA Cup work?
No worries pal. These highlights are for the game that was played on Sat 7th Jan. In the FA cup, teams are randomly drawn against each other for each round. Whoever wins, goes through to the next round. If the game is a draw (tied) then they will play a 'replay' a few days later to determine a winner. Wrexham only played Coventry once because they won the game. They now go on to play Sheffield United in the next round (4th round).
@@peterjohns9195 thank you Peter. Tell me, Wrexham just beat a Championship level team. That’s 3 league’s up correct? In the first two rounds, what level tier teams did they beat? Finally, what level team is Sheffield United? This is very exiting!
@Kenneth Finnegan Yes, Coventry is three levels above, so is Sheffield.
We beat Oldham in the first FA Cup round. They are at the same level as Wrexham. We then beat Farmborough. They are one level lower.
@LOSTshowfan is right. And as for Sheffield United. They are the same level as Coventry, which is to say, the Championship. 3 leagues above Wrexham and 1 below the Premier League. They are currently 2nd in the Championship, which means if if they stay in that position they will be promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season. On the face of it, they look to be significantly tougher opposition than Coventry were. Some might disagree, but in my opinion, Sheffield Utd at the moment are probably as good or possibly better than the bottom 3 or 4 teams in the Premier League. It'll be quite a test. But a cracking game at home.

Do the math, if you dare. It's Celtic number theory. My ancestors were tin miners from Cornwall and coal miners from Wales, hoping to cash in on the 1849 gold rush. They missed out despite settling directly over the biggest mother lode in California. So the family leaned on the Scots cattle rustling branch, built a massive ranch on land that now houses the American fleet of U-2 and (formerly) SR-71 reconnaissance planes (Beale AFB). Some luck.

Excellent win for us in Coventry, only down fall for me is our goalkeeper Howard. 🤔He's quite in goal ,no communication with his defenders , slow come out to challenge for balls , should have been in the centre of his goal with Coventrys 3rd .Lainton back on Friday against Altrincham if he has a good game should bring him in to league matches.
