Khiva (Khiva) is a historical city located in the Khwarezm region of Uzbekistan, one of the important stops of the Silk Road. As the capital of the Khiva Khanate in the 16th century, it became a cultural and commercial center. Ichan Kale, the ancient part of the city surrounded by walls, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and contains many historical mosques, madrassas and palaces. Khiva is one of the best-preserved historical cities of Central Asia and attracts attention with its architecture.
