Man Hal gives me that Gilbert Gottfried energy. Hes great lol
Also for Me Tua has shown enough to be considered the franchise QB. The point is to win games. Tua does that and hes a greatt W/L record. Id rather bank on the guy that wins and attacks the offseason every year to impove over a bridge or young unproven QB.

Keep up the great work AP👏
🧠like your point about Buffalo's FA losses vs. Miami's
    T. White has not even gave the Bills that many snaps over the past few seasons. 🤷
Furthermore, at this point S. Diggs was almost more trouble than he was worth. Its still good to see him gone one way or another, because he has given the Dolphins as much or more trouble than any other Buffalo WR since Eric Molds.
Also, not to TUA bash, but give Tyreek Hill his flowers💐🌹🌻🌹💐
He is in a different world of explosiveness 🌎
Even guys like D.K. Metcalf who ran 10.36 in 100 meters is not at that level🧮
    #10 ran a wind assisted 9.97 in high school💨🤯
TUA did not have huge numbers without #10, which is no knock on TUA, #10 MAKES EVERY QB BETTER.🥓
DC's actively plan for #10 and he is still a threat for 2000 yards.🏁

You let wilkins avg and hunt walk so you could sign players to an extension. You got tua, waddle, holland, phillips coming up. Spend some money to keep the players. We already decimated the defense. Offense needs to play lethal to compete.😊

This is unbelievable, these reporters have followed the Dolphins since the 70's. They have Marino memories, obviously, and choose to forget the dozens of QB's since. Here they admit to having a perfect combination of scheme and QB, coach and QB, yet still willing to pass the QB on for their own anti-tua validation. If Miami doesn't sign Tua, these guys will forever write articles on what could have been. win-win.

    • @alldolphinspodcast
      @alldolphinspodcast  4 месяца назад

And yet, as wonderful as you want to make everything sound, this is a team that was 1-6 against playoff opponents last season and is 1-12 in such games in their past 13 tries. If good but not good enough works for you, that's fine. I'm hoping for something more. Can it happen with Tua? Absolutely. But, if I were in charge, I would not be willing to commit for another four years in the hope that it does when the team has him under contract for 2024 and has the option of using the franchise tag next offseason. It's really that simple. And you can feel free to disagree.

It has not bit I have to say that our key players have also "dropped the ball" pun intended in those key games. Also hill by himself as great as he was throughout the season lost the Germany game against KC on his own. And that playoff game against KC this past season should not have been played at all those Conditions were unbearable and many times our defense didn't want to tackle anyone and rightfully so. Regardless your right but those stats don't paint the whole picture because it wasn't all tua but also tua wasn't the reason why those deficiencies were overcomed. It was a combination. Coach made blunders hill and waddle dropped passes In very key moments against those very same playoff teams and or they got hurt also defense got hurt. Wins and loses are not a qb Stat because most times it's a multitude of things that happen. This season he needs to be more the reason we win than just a point guard I will agree and I think that's the difference with tua is that he needs to take the next level and be more of a Take what defense gives me type mentality. I do believe him being more mobile and stronger will be the next level in his game. I do believe if he takes off for open lanes and free 1st downs that will force a defender to be on him that will help him out immensely and having obj will open the field EVEN MORE.

Love the podcast, enjoy the history lesson (these are the years when I REALLY starting getting into football and following the Fins - I was a fan from the late 80s, but too young to grasp football…the 90s is when I started remembering player names and paying attention to drafts, etc.). Also, great guest!
But man…I am dying for some actual football to start, because the Tua talk is just ridiculous. How many times do we have to hear everyone’s 10+ minute stance on Tua? Media members are blaming us fans for always wanting to talk Tua and even Poup has recently said things along the lines of, “there are other players on the team not named Tua, let’s get to coverage on those players…” and yet, you still keep going back to Tua and saying the exact same points in nearly every single episode. I think I know your Tua talking points BY HEART by now, because I’m a faithful listener who never misses an episode😂
It’s not a matter of agree or disagree, it’s just exhaustion! Please, football gods, give us something else to talk about!!!!😂

There are teams that have won Super Bowls with less than super stat QBs. Last year, the Dolphins defense let them down in critical games. It isn’t all about the QB. Mcd has to put the offense in better situations in bad weather, and the defense has to make plays, produce turnovers.
