I’m saving up around 10,000 to do basically the same thing but make it more of a street car. Awesome work though this has motivated me so much and has carried me through the steps on how to do this swap and what to buy thank you so much.
I can't get over how nice that Windfield blue looks. No spoiler, no badges and nice wheels with a coyote motor how are you going to beat that? It needs cams lol. Love it thanks for the videos.
So inspiring thanks man I'm learning so much, even learning how to better approach issues Nice attitude brotha ! truly anything is possible with a good attitude and dedication 👏 Work with what u got and make it better That was some work This is awesome
Yes although I do not have install instructions or don't really support that via messaging you can. Keep the factory computer installed and also use the FRPP control pack. As long as it is a Gen 2 or 1 you can use those two to make everything work. The Gen 3 creates a bit of problem for the tach but Gen 1 and 2 you can make it all work. Just use both computers.
@@BrenspeedEngineering Thank you for the response man, I am a fan of your work. Just heard there was issues with getting factory speedos to work. I'm getting 17 gen2 with the manual trans thats connected to it..I have 09 vapor silver GT/CS my favorite body style as well. Got alot of info watching your videos thats going to help me with this swap.. was wrryd bout speedo & stock gages & controls inside mainly since it's goin to be cruiser/show car
One question will the radio still work if you don’t take it out and will the gauges still work or do you have to be something for it. If so could you provide a link.
Radio should be OK. As far as gauges you will need to just do forum research to find articles. You can make them work, but it takes some time to do it. We do not have instructions or any lists or anything on that. But if you google it you can find people that do.
These videos are awesome, getting motivated to start my build. Do you recommend a controller for an magna fuel 4303 pump in a Fox with the ford racing harness ? 100% drag only car. Thanks.
D Piazza like a fuel pump controller? Depends how you wired it. I recommend them for pretty easy install all relays and correct gauge wiring is there. Thanks!
Did yall have any issues with the grounds? Everything in my swap is working except for the fuel pump. It's getting power but wont turn on and when I probe the ground at the harness it has like 5 ohms of resistance when the key is on. The car will crank and everything but I Can't figure out why this is the only thing that won't turn on.
How do you wire the rest of the gauges up? I’d like to do this to my 08 Shelby GT500 with a blown engine, but I want to keep the factory gauges. Thank you!
@@BrenspeedEngineering Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of swapping out the stock master cylinder/booster on my 2007 and "upgrade" to Strange manual brakes.
So you don’t have to change out the factory BEC (bussed electrical center aka engine fuse box)? That fuse box works fine with the new computer and wiring harness? Does that BEC have anything to do with your gauges not working?
The control pack comes with its own fuse box, the OEM fuse box is in place. To make the OEM gauges work you have to wire them into the control pack. As of today, we have wired the tach in but not the others yet. THANKS
Brenspeed cool, so is the original BEC used in anyway? I can’t see how it could be as the wiring harness connectors plug into the bottom of it and the wiring harness connectors for a Coyote are gonna be different than they are for a 3V. Or does the control pack tie into the original BEC? I’m curious how that set-up works. Any feedback is appreciated. I have an 06 Mustang GT that gave me a significant headache for 3 months beginning last July when it overheated. I could not figure out the issue. The car would work fine in the driveway but as soon as it had a load on it from driving it the cooling fan would not cut in. I replaced the thermostat, had the radiator out and tested, changed the radiator cap and installed a new Ford cooling fan assembly but the problem persisted. I had no codes and no codes stored for overheating as it was check by a Ford tech with his Ford computer. I had people say it was my head gasket but it had no symptoms for that and I had others say it was the PCM. i decided to disassemble the BEC in early October and found the issue, a short to the high speed fan relay that had burned into the wiring harness connector. I got a new connector to replace the burnt one and re-pinned my wiring into it and replaced the BEC with one from a V6 (they have slightly different part numbers for whatever reason but are identical). After all that the problem was solved! I even had some other electrical glitches that all disappeared since I guess the short was affecting voltages in other operating systems within the BEC. It was the most mysterious issue I ever had with a car but I was glad I figured it out before I replaced the PCM. Ruined my cruising season though as the car is a Saturday cruiser and was winter stored a few weeks after I fixed it.
You can run the stock K member. You can also run aftermarket but the stock one will work. We ran a stock one for a while before putting in a BMR K member.
Hi if you email quote@brenspeed.com they have a rough price for you they can provide. If you email be detailed on what you have, V6 or GT, and what you are wanting (auto or manual) etc... THANKS

What exhaust setup was on it. Sounds amazing.
Cant you run bluetooth gauges on a cheap tablet? Could mount it right on that panel.
Some how to videos would be cool also. Like actually how it was done.
Just a thought..looking awesome by the way!
thanks!

Battery location?
Nice! What are your plans for brakes? For a drag strip/streetable car, I suppose ABS is not too big of a concern. Thank you for these videos.
Doug B thanks this video shows you the brakes

The original fuse box still operates the lights and some other electrical. That is why it is still in place. Thanks for all the tech input!
Can’t wsit to see it on the strip this is my dream 😢
We will have it out soon thanks!
What k member did you get for the swap? I'm about to do one too I just wanna know which kmember I need. If you can respond back that will be great💯
You can run the stock K member. You can also run aftermarket but the stock one will work. We ran a stock one for a while before putting in a BMR K member.
@@BrenspeedEngineering alright thanks alot💯
what gears you running?
Starting with 3.73, then will go lower depending how it performs and where it crosses the quarter mile.
How much would you guys charge to do the exact same project for a customer?

Why not just solid axel swap a 2015???
Not sure what your asking. Here is a link to episode 1 of why I am doing this car. THANKS FOR WATCHING!
