I don’t know if you’ve talked about it but what shoes do you wear in the hospital? I started working in a senior home 3 days ago and the arch in my feet are killing me! I already ordered compression socks but I need the good shoes to go along with them for those 11 hour shifts!
Hokas are the best!! Also if you are going for comfort id recommend some cloud foam Nike shoes!! Hokas are the ultimate best for comfort though as long as you get the right size!! :)
NEVERMIND GIRL! I TOTALLY FORGOT!! CLOVE SHOES ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST! They’re designed for nursing, so they’re perfect for up to 13 hour shifts and more!! They’re also gripped on the bottom, fluid resistant, and SO comfy!! They’re also way cuter than other nursing shoes!! I’d definitley reccomend these out of any shoe!

I’m an immersion preceptor for senior year nursing students and I love when they are so positive and excited like you are! My girl this semester isn’t excited at all and im like come on homie this is what we’ve been working so hard for!

I work PRN because right now I have multiple 12 hour shifts a week! And I also work full time for youtube! But just plan out your days and set time everyday to take time for yourself and family/friends! It is so important so you don’t get burnt out!!

You can still work! I have classmates who work full time or part time and have kids ! It’s possible! I am not working a lot right now bc I have multiple 12 hour clinicals a week now! But I still work daily for youtube which is my full time job now!

As someone who is on 2 of 4 semesters of the actual nursing program (almost done my second) the motivation is also so far gone, so I felt that soooo hard. Self discipline is what’s getting me through studying for all of my tests. But gosh it is soul crushing to stay focused and learn it all. These videos are a great reminder that it’s all worth it to keep going and the end is in sight & it will be worth it in the end! Thank you for sharing your journey ❤️
