I have been a musician for more than 40 years, playing guitar, bass, saxophone, trumpet, banjo, and mandolin. At 58 I decided that I want to learn keyboards. I chose the Yamaha PSR-E463 based on your in depth videos and I just wanted to thank you for all that you do.
Gracias Jeremy.
@@JeremySee I was on split and the volume was not balanced and before that I'd just been playing it as a piano. Im experienced with guitar and know theory, bought a keyboard to do bass and fell in love with it. Now I'm applying my knowledge and quickly becoming a piano player. Love it
After watching your videos and after some research in the web , now i have that magical Yamaha E463. Thank you so much for your tutorials ! Great videos, so helpful.
Thankyou, this vid is exactly what I need, just bought a ew410 and have never played any instrument before, now I can go thru it following your excellent tuition and video, thankyou again, best wishes to all, frm,Auckland,New Zealand👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🥰🙂🙂🙂😉😉
WAs looking for ‘virtual’ lessons for this keyboard! Jeremy you have shown me how to use all the aspects of the keyboard! Now all I need to do is practice more!
Thank you Jeremy. After purchasing the Yamaha psr e463, I started playing only after seeing your video. I asked so many people to tell me the controls, but all in vain. ThnQ again
This was very clear, thank you! I've had a Yamaha Piagerro NP-V80 arranger since 2015 and YOU have taught me what to do with almost all the buttons and controls. Appears to be a very tedious process just to create one tune, especially needing to tweak each volume setting until satisfactory.
Thanks very much for this video. I am a little overwhelmed by all the features and this is a great start...baby steps. My small tip: I felt the small print in the manual was giving me a headache. If anyone is having difficulty reading the small print in the owners manual you can go to the Yahama website, download the manual to pdf and enlarge it enough to use for reference. Your video really helps me to relate to the manual.
Hello there Sir Jeremy, I have now watched more than 200 of your videos and have decided that I will now buy myself a keyboard! My pick was either Casio ct-s1, Casio ctx-700, Korg ek50 or the Yamaha PSR-E373. I now decided that tomorrow or the day after to buy the Yamaha PSR-E373. Thank you Jeremy very much for all that you have done to help me decide, you are amazing!!! I now soon will start my musical Journey, C ya!
hi Jeremy👋😉 ... very good lesson to teach how to get the most out of this type of keyboard.👌 I have a psr463 2 years ago and I have taken many combinations of rhythms and variants of the sounds with their basic parameters that it has for the main, dual and split sounds.🎹🎹🎹 I have made recordings with his little sequencer and mergers with his grove creator! not to mention the sampled and looped sounds that I have recorded on a pendrive. It is one of the best keyboards of this line yamaha for its value $👍💪🎹😊
Nice demo showing features,.. thanks....a few improvements in future models will definitely help the player such as an on board Octave shift button +/- and transpose button +/- so you don't have to go deep into the menu while playing? Also ability to "name the memory songs" so you don't have to memorize or write down the song selections?,...
Very informative and easy to understand, need your advice i have chosen the voice 290 Indian. When I select the style Britrock 001, i can hear indian drum and Britrock, how do i use the indian drum with the voice, thanks look forwad for your reply
Your a life saver dude I was trying to get the synth sound from love walks in and couldn’t figure out how to mix the grand piano in there with dual it was just so quiet you helped me so much thank you bro!
Hey Jeremy.. Thanks so much for posting these.. Someone actually gave me a Yamaha PSR - 410.. Amazed and overwhelmed doesn't quite sum it up but best spoken language can do.. Lol.. I can't even seem to find a tutorial for it anywhere.. I downloaded the manual but am still a Lil lost.. I took middle school band for one year clairent.. And c Can play some Christmas songs on piano.. So I remember some but it's been awhile.. I did sign up for the 12 free classes.. Or free trial.. But I was curious if you ever did I video on that particular model.. And if not what would you say is closest as far as basic use... Im determined to learn to play a song on it.. Thanks for your videos and time.. Watching the other videos trying to at least learn the language for music..
Great vid brother... just got this keyboard today.. I am a guitarist and this is my first keyboard.. can someone pls suggest how should I go about keyboard ? What to learn first ?
Many Thank sir. There are so many functions buttons that I have not been using or learn with my PSR 410. especially about the Registration. What is the Registrations (A B C D) for. .Is it to register four sets of Songs or to set four accompaniments. Will follow your website. Mr. Jeremy See.
Whoa Bro I Just Made It Over The Wall In My Head, I Started With The Korg EK-50, Then I Was At The Yamaha 463, But As Of The Other Day I’m On, My Mind Is On The Yamaha PSR-S670. I Gotta Wait Until Next Week To Watch This, If Your Gonna Do Another Video On The 670 Focus On Making Ones Own Styles. I Think I Should Be Able To Figure Out The Voice Effects Today. Is It Me Or Does The Tenor Saxophone Sound Best On The Korg To You Bro ? Mad Love And Respect 💚 Your Bro, John
Thanks Jeremy for a very nice and clear informative video. Can I ask a question - How to increase the accompaniment volume in an E463 keyboard?. Thanks
Hi Jeremy, I'm also teaching till grade 5 trinity examination.. But beyond that grade i dont know which keyboard will be good in budget for me as well as for my student also Would you like to help that which keyboard is good for examination purpose till all trinity grade.. Lowest in budget
Is the Chord used for starting 'Rhythm Sync Start' becomes the Key/Root of the Rhythm being played? Or not? Like if I used the C Major Chord to start 'Rhythm Sync Start' will the rhythm played be based on C? Thanks.
If you dont want to go from the Main A to B or from B to A just only to fill and continue to the same Main A or B you have to press 2 times the Main/ Auto Fill button?
Hi I face few issues in my E463. When I press Accom button suddenly it shows Ending When I press style button it goes to songs Registration button also when select Bank registration button 1 it displays as Mem Ok Could you advise me Thanks
Hi I got a psr e 463 is there a sustain function in this keyboard,,I am very new to keyboard can you give me some basic function buttons Do you have any courses on the basic functions of the psr e 463
Question, please, Jeremy. There is a function button for Style Volume, but I'm finding that only raises the rhythm but not the actual instrument they have embedded in that style. For instance, if the embedded instrument was organ, I only hear the rhythm but not the organ voice. How do you increase the volume of the left instrument, rather than the drums etc. of the rhythm itself?
I bought a 473 partly on the strength of your video I watched today. However the 4 buttons in your vid starting with voice are not labeled on my 473. pressing them makes drum sounds. Secondly, the instruments are no listed on the keyboard as they are in your video. What gives? Thanks. OK, sorry. I see the video was about the 463. Do you have an instruction about that one?
