This happened on Davis street in San Leandro, Ca. just before the southbound entrance to I-880. When his insurance company called me to record a statement, I said OK, but I was recording it also and she freaked out and said, "I don't want to be recorded" so I said goodbye and hung up. I can't picture any honest reason they didn't want to be recorded, but I wasn't giving my voice to possibly be altered by AI into saying something I hadn't said. I haven't heard back from them so I left the company a voice mail that I may just take them to small claims court since that was pretty sketchy to me.
