Animals Aglow At The St Louis Zoo Was Incredible! Dragons, Food, & Fun!
The St. Louis Zoo is always three things: fun, interesting, and educational. And very often, they have special events that take those things to the next level. The "Animals Aglow" event fits that description, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The event is held on Wednesday-Sunday evenings from 6:30-9:30 pm, and theme is of a Chinese Lantern Festival. Spread around a good portion of the Zoo, you'll find large and small, lighted lantern figures of land and sea animals, as well as plants and other objects. Some are actual size, while some are larger than life. In the dark, these are beautiful to look at, and many have moving features as well. There were nightly Cultural Performances featuring different acrobats and actors, and we really enjoyed that experience. There were also five different food and drink items created specifically for "Animals Aglow", and we had the chance to try two of them...both were very good. All in all, we had a great time, and would highly recommend you see it if you get the chance. Hopefully it will be back again next year, as 2024 was the first time the Zoo had hosted it, running from March 13 thru May 5, 2024. Thanks for watching!
