This is the most inspirational video I have ever watched great job Chris Seriously Is amazing!!!! I especially like at the end how you got your wife's phone back that's amazing and yes we all need to be very thankful and watch each other's back we are all in this world together
My wife and I flew from Dallas to Denver, rented a little suv, went to BV and rented a lifted Jeep from Steve's Jeeps and climbed Tin Cup, visited Red Rocks, and climbed Pike's Peak. Some of the most memorable days in all of our getaways. The Colorado Rockies are breathtaking! Nice to see you and your family enjoying it, as we did. Thanks for the memories.
That sounds like an exciting adventure for sure we lived in Dallas for many years. Right off 75 & mockingbird! Great city! Hopefully youll be back soon!
Oh no, bummer. Maybe we need to put an unofficial sign, “dead end ahead, skull and crossbones”. 😅 thanks so much! Hopefully we catch you on the trail this summer!
My great aunt has a cabin up near St Elmo. If you follow the road where you were camped the opposite way of the ghost town youll be in the neighborhood where its located. Always go up a few times a year and go on the various trails throughout the area. By far my favorite place to go every year!
Old Tincup is way easy now compared to what it used to be in the 80's and 90's. All those boulders you see on the side were down on the trail. I did it from bottom towards the top in a 73 Power Wagon on 31's.with only posi's. A 3/4 ton Ford was buried at the top so I had to turn around on the trail and go back down, since there was no getting him out of the boulder field.
Your channel was recommended to me today because I recently bought a JT Launch Edition (also the same color as yours). Do you use the 400W outlet in the bed to run your air compressor? If so, would you mind sharing what compressor you use? Thanks!
Oh man thats awesome!!! Congrats!!! So that 400w inverter in the back is a very love hate relationship. It works great for small stuff like. Like air mattresses, my overland refridgerator, charging drone batteries. But i havent found an air compressor thats powerful enough but still under the 400w max to use with it. Ive tried 2 gal tank compressors and they wont run. The best advice i can give you is to just poney up the money on an ARB twin air or a amazon knock off. (I have the knock off, and one died but they sent me a brand new one) i think it was like 375$. There are some you can get that connect to the battery, but they still cost like 275 ish. So personally id rather have it built in. Ill be making a video about Kraken system soon. Im gonna see if the knock off will fit.
@@barelymadeit Awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to reply back! I've been binge-watching all the vids on your channel and looking forward to more content in the future!
Unfortunatly not as much as i should have, but i didnt have onboard air at this point, so i was trying to balance the distance to fill back up after the trail. 😅
Old Tin Cup IS NOT that doggone hard and no, you DON'T need 35's. We did it in our Taco rig with a 2"lift on 33'ss just fine; we didn't even scrape. This vid is clickbait and over exaggeration. That said, Tin Cup is awesome and if you've never camped at Mirror Lake, the view is to die for if you can manage to get one of the "front row" seats.
There is definitly more than one way to go on this trail and we described in the video how “youd better have perfect tire placement or”… however there are many videos of other types of ifs vehicles scraping all the way up/down. It is very impressive that you didnt scrape at all on 33s. Year over year the trails also changes. Hopefully well see you on the trail sometime! 💪🏻😀
@@COVolcom I think I understand now, this type of trail would be a cakewalk for a fully built rock bouncer on 42's like the ones on your page. If that's how you judge trails, then yes this is clickbait. 🙂

This is absolutely awesome bro great video!!!!!!
I have jeeped into that dead-end twice! Great video

Another beautifully well done video Great job yall

Thats awesome! Great place to have a cabin for sure! We are counting down the days for the snow to stop so we can get back out.
Sweet video !!
Thats a nice trail i ran it a few years ago.
Thanks so much 🙏🏻! Its rocky but the views are incredible!
@Barely Made It My favorite trail in the state is right down from that one Mt. Antero. You should definitely check it out if you have not run it yet.

Wow that sounds crazy! Everything was better back in the day! 😀
Inexperience and poor planning/prep will make any trail hard. Stay within your abilities, both equipment and personal, and you’ll be fine.
Thats 100% true! Thanks for joining us!

I thought the same exact thing!!!! Total clickbait. Tin Cup (including the old Tin Cup section) is a cakewalk.
@@COVolcom Everyone has different experiences, but I don't think 18" shelf rocks is "a cakewalk". Thanks so much for your comment!
