I have a language question: I've noticed that Asians often use "I" even when referring to two or more people, like "I am going home." Why don’t they use "we," as in "We are going home"?

Japanese people often abbreviate the subject in everyday conversation, so when you input spoken words into a translation tool, the translation tool automatically changes the subject to "I" or "We"😅
@@YunoKanaJapan To be fair, using "I" instead of "we" isn’t necessarily a mistake. It just means you’re speaking about your own actions, so it’s not inherently wrong. I’ve always been curious about this because it’s something I often notice, not just on your channel. I wasn’t sure if it’s because Japanese doesn’t have a word specifically for a subject involving more than one person.

Ehh that citrus drink mix next to the ice cream sign at 2:33 i got the same thing at a Japanese grocer here called Mitsuwa. It was kind of expensive. I am drinking it slowly. haha
I want to try and wear a yukata too, it looks so nice. but i know there are traditions and a certain way to wear it right? i am afraid i will mess up how i am to do it.

Men's yukata are easy to put on! Many yukata obis these days can be easily fastened with Velcro! You should definitely try it on sometime 😆.
