- On January 10, 2019, we held a memorial service for K9 Cigo, who was killed in the line of duty in December 2018. The service was held at The Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida, where hundreds of deputies and community members attended to show their support.
I think all service dogs should get this kind of respect. Thank you my love for saving your humans ❤️
I can't believe this tragedy wasn't covered on national news. Found Cigo's story on RUclips and it broke my heart. God bless you all and thank you for the courageous work you do keeping us citizens safe.

I know how hard its to lose ur best friend especially this magnificent 4 legged guardian.. That is why god name is use in the reverse for dog.. N for every police officer that has been with their k 9 unit knows that their bravery n loyalty is beyond compare... They will never think about their life when there's danger.. They jump in, with no armour for them.. They are the true heroes, k9 unit.. Watching this memorial brings tears though im not related to this, it the emotion that i can understand n related to it... N im really proud of this Americans police unit, where they see their k 9 partner as a real police n give them the highest respect despite that they just a dog.. Not many countries have similar mindset like this Americans.. I respect n really proud of this Americans police unit for the affection to the k9 unit...

What a beautiful memorial service for an amazing canine officer. My only hope is the scumbag who murdered him was charged and convicted to the fullest extent of the law. RIP precious hero, Cigo.
Sad the suspect should have gotten life and k killed in prison that K-9 had a family and didn’t deserve what the dog got.
That dog was so brave give his life for a cop it could of been deferent if the dog jumped to catch the murder but at least he is in a better place like haven
