One of my goals for 2025 is less social media and being intentional about reading more this year. Ive already read 2 books since 2025, reading my Third. Love this goal for you as well 🎉
Happy New Year Sue! Totally agree that many of the movie theater programs, AMC Stubs, Regal Unlimited, MoviePass, and even new offerings from A24 and Mubi, offer great opportunities to save money and see more movies in the theaters if, and only if, one makes a habit of going to theaters more frequently. Of course, everyone should stay within budget, but these all offer great ways to save money and see more movies when utilized properly and promptly.
Hey Sue. I have recently started collecting movies myself. I have the first Sopranos set, not the repackage. It's my favorite show and I feel bad for people that don't care about it which seems to be a lot. I think it's because it's pre-netflix and maybe its age. I think if you watch it there's a high chance it'll be your favorite show too. I'll say briefly that the ending is considered by many to be unsatisfying. That's all I'll say just as a heads up. Enjoy!

Good luck with your resolutions. Similar to your 2nd resolution to go to the cinema more I made a new year's resolution in 2019 which was to go to the cinema 50 times before the end of the year and then I tried to do the same in 2020 but lockdown hit so I only got halfway through. And then this year, because I don't have as much time to go to the cinema as I did in 2019, I've made a resolution to watch at least 30 films or series that I haven't seen before but these can be on streaming, cinema or DVD
I have only just begun to watch the Sopranos myself. Not even done with the 1st season. It’s good..but I tend to get side tracked on a series. I hope that doesn’t happen with this HBO series. Would LOVE ya do a favorite Cult Film episode. Maybe the list of your top 10 fav Cult Films
If it helps Susan, and I know you are on a buying freeze, I wouldn't get any more movies unless it's something you absolutely, positively have to own. I only have one movie on preorder, venom 3. After that, nothing.
Hey Sue I think you'll enjoy a true blood better but the seasons do get progressively worse the best season is the first season sopranos is a far superior series it's good all the way through has a great ending top three series of all time true blood doesn't even come to a top 100 series of all time and frankly The vampire diaries was a better show

Yea to classic movies. I recently saw The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) and it was so great.
