I've been playing pathfinder since launch but never have been able to do better with him than legends like wraith or octane. Hopefully this helps clear my block with him :) Edit: so far, 7:06 has been most helpful. Clarification of a pathfinder's role helps
hey great video. i would just have to add: if you grapple something high above your head its often better not to use your jump to go further because your projectory is higher in the end. also turning your camera at the start of a grapple slingshots you further. turning your camera after the first 1/3 of your grapple lets you go in the opposite direction you originaly grappled. can often be used to bambozle your enemy.
I always avoided Pathfinder (and Wraith, as everyone else used them on the team), but I have played every other legend. Am using Arenas to learn pathfinder and wraith finally, thanks for the guide. Those moments when you mis grapple and die are painful in BR , not as bad when in Arenas!
this was by far the best guide i have found i started off as a trash movement player with path now with this guide the movement has helped so much i went from gold to diamond i already had aim so the movement just was key so daz thank you

@@blazefa. nah, everyone has some complex advantage that doesn’t just tie down to their ability, but how you use it, when it’s best to use it, when not to and how you can use it most efficiently to your advantage. also really depends on the character. loba can actually be powerful.

I found the new arenas map is great for learning the grapple, without watching a guide I was starting to figure out some of the strafe integrations without really knowing they existed
Honestly I learned everything I know about pathfinder from some random I played with and watched, dude dropped like 17 kills while moving around like spider man. Ever since then my grapple game has been better but this video helped me fine tune my grappling
This was a nice video, and I hate to be negative, but I have some criticism. I'll start with the good. He does a good job of explaining when to use the grapple/zipline and uses good theoretical situations to get his point across. Now for the bad. If you came to this video in search of an explanation of the actual mechanics of Pathfinder's grapple, you're in the wrong place. If you want a tutorial on how to grapple slingshot, I recommend Mokeysniper's video on it. This video does not even touch on anything like strafing, grapple strafing, or general slingshot technique. These concepts are really important to get good distance, power, and good accuracy with the grapple. Other than completely missing these topics, this was a well-crafted video and I wish Dazs the best. I hate to be negative on any videos but I think that these topics that he missed are really important to at least have a basic understanding of, because they have a large impact on the actual mechanics of the grapple. Sorry for ranting so much.

Mokeysniper is just that good at content creation and He excels at teaching specific movement. My goal is to teach and create a strong foundation. I did not title this video grapple strafing or strafing. This is to improve your grapple movement (The foundations) Once you understand the basics everything else can come together. honestly when i get first shot on someone say i hit them for 50-60dmg, what i do is the forward back forward grapple. they literally hit me woth maybe 20-30dmg and then have to reload and i’m full mag just beaming them safely. makes winning 1v1’s super easy

ive been playing with pathfinder for quite some time now, and i keep getting a bug where i am in reach to grapple and it doesnt connect and i spam it several times and it doesnt connect, so it makes me unsure of myself even though im very close enough to grapple so i really hope they fix that bug man, its ruining my games
We can b hop just fine, remap your buttons to ninja or get paddles. It's all practice I promise we can super glide, zipline jump, flick strafe etc etc.. just not the tap strafe yeah

In my opinion, I think your last pathfinder engagement tip was really misleading. It made me grapple less so I dont maximise pathfinder potential. Maybe there should be some other exceptions to grappling to a gun fight? Like using grapple to get the highground in a gun fight or maybe grappling into a gunfight if there is cover nearby. The tip is not wrong or anything but I feel like it has definitely made me played worse because I don't use pathfinder's kit to his full potential.

You have such a great variety of videos for different aspects of the game, from movement, health/mindset and positioning. Buuuttt not everyone is willing to put in the effort, so growth is slow going in this sector of creation. The playerbase is becoming increasingly dedicated though, so i can foresee growth
