I think most people in this country are left leaning, and I say that because of our love for institutes like the NHS, a remarkably socialist system. We tend to be a country that demands fairness. We are a kind, tolerant country, much more so than some of the Eastern European nations, where you can find real racism a lot of the time. I doubt that. Germaxit is nonsense as the problem with EU is that through Lisabon treaty, it effectively changed itself into federation of European Soviet Socialistic Republics with Germany being intertwinned to the core, alongside with France to a certain degree.
Germany drowned huge heap of cash into ESSR and € - and it continue to fuel it.
So Germany can't leave, but it may be abandoned if CEE states decide they'll be rather poor on paper, but free and living decent lives.

Recently my partner of 10 years was diagnosed with a terminal illness. I had to leave my job to care for her.
I can confirm that being white did not shield me from this tragedy.
What commensurate suffering do black people endure for being black in the West? Stop and search? Micro-aggressions? Euro-centric curriculum? Lack of representation on BBC Radio 4? None of these compare to life's real hurt. Getting cancer, or losing a parent, or having your lover cheat on you - these are life's true torments.
The truth is that, just like white people, 99.9999999% of black people's problems have nothing to do with race. They are the existential problems that everyone face: that we get old, that our parents die, that our lovers lie, and our friends die, and we die. And so the use of the phrase 'white privilege' is entirely redundant, and unnecessarily divisive. It refers to such a narrow aspect of life's experience that it needn't be mentioned.

In my 32 years of life in England, I have seen no racism, what I have seen though is many valid concerns dismissed and bad behavior excused as racism. Remember when something is good it is self-evident, strength is self-evident so why are we told diversity is our strength when we know via experience and statistics (evidence) that this is not the case.
