Some people will try and get a person they are interested in to go against their own requirements/ expectations and guidelines in a relationship to get what they want. It will never work when that happens.
For example, I had someone trying to set me up with someone who is looking for a relationship that they have already placed limits on. They have been married before and feel like they never want to get married again because they already have a family and cant see a relationship going past basic companionship ( or being able to run around with multiple people). I refuse to be in a relationship with someone who has already placed a limit on how far a relationship can go. It’s ok to want what one wants, but it is only going to work with someone who sees relationships and relationship goals the same way. I dont even want to deal with someone who feels intense chemistry but wants to play games and avoid the fact that there are major differences in how/what they want to give in a relationship.
